Piper found out pretty quick that whatever plane Percy was in, was faster then the Argo Three. Also the Argo Three was about as fast as a normal plane so it didn't take that much to beat it. It also didn't have auto pilot so Jason or Annabeth had to be flying it at all times, which meant Jason had to fly it at all times becuase Annabeth wasn't there. Another problem was, that plane had just landed inside of Alaska's borders.

The only upside was that Hazel had just contacted them saying her and Annabeth were on their way and to prepare the brig. Why Hazel didn't specify, and it wasn't like Piper could call her back as she probably threw away the flip phone she used. In any case Pipe had just finished fixing up the brig when the Argo Three started to descend to let Annabeth and Hazel on board. They weren't alone.

A small boy who Piper was sure was her sibling had come with them, he'd managed to convince them (Probably charm speak) to let him come. Piper consequently charm spoke Annabeth to bed and marched the boy herself off to the brig. He provided several arguments that made Piper hesitate in naming him a child oh Aphrodite and instead maybe an Athena kid, but Piper ignored his arguments and locked him up anyway.

"I could help fight, I'm really good with daggers. You know that" Piper did. Piper didn't care. "I'd be vital if someone attacked who knew the whole team but didn't know about me." Again a good point, but the mortals didn't know any of them anyway. "If you need someone to grab something or to sacrifice them self for the team you could sacrifice me because you have no emotional attachment to me." That stopped Piper in her tracks. What the heck was wrong with this kid? Who the heck was his mortal parent? Did they not care about him? She shrugged it off as she remembered she had to check on Jason who'd been flying for a while.

"What if there's a fire and I can't get out" "Then you'll find a way out or burn."

Okay maybe that was a little harsh but Piper didn't have time to argue with the kid. "How's it going" "We're close," Jason glanced over at the map with the trackers blinking softly "But we're about to pass over the border." The underlying "are we sure this is a good idea" didn't go unnoticed by Piper or by Frank. "Hey, we've been to Alaska before, we took out all of the monsters so at most they're might be two or three. And we can deal with the mortals"

Frank's pep talk seemed to help Jason who still had about an hour and a half of flying left before they arrived. Then Piper left to check on how Grover and Connor were doing with the weapons system. The scream from Grover told her that something had gone wrong. Especially when it was followed by a second scream meaning that it wasn't just a prank.

-------------------------

When Connor got groggier and groggier he knew what was happening, just, he didn't want to tell Grover otherwise he'd be ordered to go rest. But when his fingers started feeling unusually cold he thought 'Hey, this is cool' and of course shoved them on Grover's neck. Who promptly screamed and shoved Connor backwards.

Over the side of the ship.

Over the icy cold water.

Hanging by the left pants leg.

Staring into the face of an angry wind spirit.

[Again, don't know when another chapter will be posted, sorry for such a short chapter after such a long wait. I'm busy, and, unfortunately, sick again.]
