Their love story started like any straight out of a cheesy rom com, a gorgeous love story full of highs and lows and plenty of drama along the way so why don’t we begin.

Phil Coulson first laid eyes on Melinda May when they were in seventh grade he was shy and nerdy while she was a quiet little rebel he loved to talk and talk while she spoke only when absolutely necessary. They would occasionally see each other and exchange polite hellos and waves but didn’t become true friends until they started high school. Finally their sophomore year he had enough courage to ask her to homecoming and she said yes! After that night they started dating….eventually they graduated high school still going strong happy and more in love than the day before.
Later after high school both of them attended Le Cordon Bleu in Shanghai China Phil studied Pastry Arts and Melinda studied and focused more on the decorative side of Pastry Arts since she was not the best in the kitchen which Phil loved to remind her teasingly. After three years of schooling they both graduated with three degrees each...but instead of coming home to Sherwood they decided why not live in Shanghai for a few more years. At 23 years old they decided to have a small intimate ceremony with a few of their closest friends from home and after a gorgeous honeymoon in Tahiti and only a few months after that honeymoon things turned.
