Meme let go of Socks and wiped away his tears. Socks picked up Meme's chin and smiled at him while silent tears ran down his face. 

Socks: Hey, were gonna be okay. Together.

Meme: Promise?

Socks held out his hand and stuck out his pinky.

Socks: I pinky promise.

Meme laced his pinky finger with Socks' and shook. Meme pulled away his hand and Socks moved his.

Meme: We should go get food.

Socks: Yeah lets go.

The two walked into cafe and saw everyone sitting in their usual spots. Today they had pasta. Meme and Socks walked up to the line and grabbed trays. Once they got food they went to different tables. Meme sat with Dino and Woolf while Socks sat with Laff, TBH, and Blaza.

Blaza: Why were you guys in there for so long?

Socks: We just, had a few things to talk about.

TBH: What kinda things?

Socks: Random things. It's not a big deal though.

TBH: Really? Why is he sitting all the way over there then?

TBH pointed to across the room where Meme was.

Laff: Dude, he said it wasn't a big deal. Leave it be.

TBH: Ok, whatever you say.

...

Dino: So did you guys like the movie?

Woolf: Yes I think it was brilliant, how about you Meme? Did you enjoy it?

Meme: Hm? Oh, yeah it was good.

Dino: Were you scared?

Meme: He he yeah, it was pretty scary. Especially the big dog thing.

Dino: Yeah that thing creeped me out. 

Woolf: I thought you loved scary movies?

Dino: I do, I do but sometimes... they go a little far. You know?

Meme: I get what you mean. 

About 30 minutes have passed and everyone has finished their food. Laff stood up and spoke to everyone.

Laff: Okay guys, we should all get some sleep tonight, today was a one time thing. From now on we will wake up at 7 as usual and start work at 8. I hope you all enjoyed your day. Now come on, lets all get to bed.

Everyone got up and walked to their usual sleep areas. Socks was still in the cafe.

Socks' thought: I can't sleep in Medbay, but I don't wanna go sleep in Woolfs area. I'm still pissed at him. Shit. Either way I have to get my pod from Medbay, maybe I can sleep in reactor. 

Socks slowly walked over to Medbay. He turned the corner and was in the door way.

Socks: Hey Meme, I'm here to get my pod.

Meme: Oh, you're not sleeping in here?

Socks: No, I don't think we should be close alone for a while.

Meme: Right... well here..

Meme swooshed over Socks' pod to him. The pods were hoovering so that they could easily be moved, but could be locked down in specific places so they don't move at night. Socks caught his pod and started to make his way out the door.

Socks: Thanks.

Meme: You're welcome..... Good night.

Socks stopped in his tracks. Without turning, he spoke.
