Injury

As the storm rages and unleashes its fury upon them, the ground grows wet and soggy. The mud;  thick and slippery causes Stardust to slip and lose his balance, throwing Sion to the muddy  ground. “AHHHHHH!” he falls on a tree root cutting his knee, his head hitting a tree, he then  loses consciousness. His scream alerts Kei and Lightning to the accident, they stop, and Kei  quickly dismounts rushing over to Sion and Stardust. “SION!!!” Stardust is ok and stands up, but  Sion is still on the ground unconscious. “SION WAKE UP, SION!!!!” He notices the blood  coming from the back of Sion’s head. “Oh no!!!” He pulls out his phone and tries to call for help but no signal because of the storm so he comes up with a different plan. He goes over to Stardust. “Stardust, I need you to get back home as fast as you can, attract as much attention as possible, and use whatever you need to bring help. Stardust, if Sion lives or dies is now up to you. Here’s a hug for good luck, NOW RUN!!!! STARDUST RUN!!!!” Stardust does as told and runs home as fast as his hooves would carry him. Once he got back, he went wild and made as much noise as he could causing his owners to come running. Ezrin and Mr. Luno both tried to calm him, but he kept trying to turn around and run back the way he came. Mr. Luno kept trying to calm him, but it was Ezrin who picked up on the meaning of his actions. “Show me Stardust, show me what you are trying to say.” Stardust calmed and let him mount him then with a gentle pat from Ezrin he took off immediately back into the forest and took him to Sion, Kei and Lightning. Ezrin being much older than Kei and Sion took charge of the situation. “Kei what  happened?” “We were playing, when the storm started to roll in, so we started heading back but the storm caught us. On our way back I heard Sion scream behind me. When I got to them Stardust stood up, but Sion just laid there. I tried waking him up but then I saw the blood coming from the back of his head, when the lightning lit up the sky, I tried to call but got no signal, so I sent Stardust to go get help'' “It’s ok Kei you did well, I’ll take it from here.” “Ok!” “Kei?” “Yes  Ezrin.” “Take some deep breaths and calm yourself, it's going to be ok.” “Ok.” Ezrin picked up Sion and placed him on Stardust, and Kei got on Lightning.” He then mounted Stardust and held Sion as they rode back to safety. When they got back Kei took Lightning and Stardust to the stables and tended to them, giving them food and water, cleaning and prepping their stalls, cleaning them up, and checking for injuries, before putting them back in their now clean stalls, putting on warm blankets and giving them hugs. “Get some rest you 2. I’m proud of both of you for your bravery and actions tonight.” He then left to make sure Sion was ok. Sion’s father  Mr.Luno was a doctor so he knew he was in good hands.
