I’m worried about Kei, he’s my best friend, but he’s been acting strange lately. Whenever I try to  ask I’m either ignored or shut down. I know a lot has happened, and it’s been hard for him, but  he’s never been like this before, he’s usually an open book with me ever since we were super little. The way he acts around me, he’s much more clingy, but I don’t know why, when we’re out riding he’s always watching, and if I so much as breathe wrong he asks if I’m ok, as if I’m about to die or he’s going to lose me. the truth is I only remember up to crossing the bridge that day, nothing after until I woke up in my room. What happened in between where my memory cuts off and when I woke up? I wish he’d tell me. If he won’t tell me then I know who will, my older brother Ezrin. I head to the stable where he tends to the horses during the day. “Ez” “Oh Sion you need something?” “ I need answers to something can we talk alone for a while?” “sure just give me a minute to finish what I’m doing alright?” “ok thanks Ez”. I wait for him to finish, then he  walks with me to the haystacks and we climb up the ladder to the hayloft and sit down. “So you  have questions what about?” “what happened to me that day? I remember crossing the bridge with  the water overflowing from the storm, but after that my memory cuts out until I woke up” “so you  want to know what happened in between? but why?” “because Kei has been acting different, and  I’m worried about him” “ah I see, his difference in behavior you think is linked to what happened,  but because you can’t remember, you don’t know why or how to approach him about it” “yeah” “ I see, so what part do you want to know about first?” “ well let’s go in order, what happened after the bridge?” “you 2 were rushing to get home but the mud was  thick and slippery, Stardust slipped, throwing you to the ground, you landed on your knees at 1st, cutting your knee, then because of the momentum your head hit a tree and you lost consciousness, it was your scream that alerted Kei to what happened, he came back and tried to call for help on his phone, but no signal, so he sent Stardust, who had gotten back up to run back here and get help, Stardust then took me to you guys, and I got you both home, Father then tended to cleaning you up, and treating your injuries, Kei was out of it, what happened really affected him emotionally, after that he tried to talk to his brother on talk night, but his brother had been wounded and wasn’t available,  the next morning he rushed to your room out of habit, but when you still weren’t better, he did his best to go through the day without you, instead of riding the bus, he walked home in the rain, when he got back he was silent, in my opinion his strange behavior is because he’s worried about you, he doesn’t want to lose you, he nearly did once and  he doesn’t want to go through that again, however this is just my view on it, the specific details on why is something only Kei knows. Now that I’ve filled you in to the best of my ability, do you feel comfortable talking to him about it?, or just have a better idea on how to approach it?” “yes, thx Ez” “You’re welcome little bro” Ez climbs down the ladder and gets back to work. I stay sitting for a while fully processing everything I’d just been told. So that’s why he’s acting weird, he’s  scared of losing me like he did his father, and with not knowing if his brother will be ok or not since he was told he was badly wounded, and nothing else on talk night. I climb down the latter and go to find Kei.
