"You'll accept it or not?" 

He glared at me, I was staring at him for a minute already. Nabigla kasi ako sa sinabi niya, okay? I didn't expect it tho. Nataranta naman akong tingnan ulit ang phone ko, to look on that notification.

He sighed. "Bahala ka na." He shook his head.

"Joke lang, my love. Ito na nga." Malambing kong sabi sa kaniya, binibiro ko na baka sakaling magkavibe kami after nito.

He stood up and walked inside our house again, pumasok ulit siya sa dining room kaya sumunod na lang ako sa kaniya. He sat down in front of me, as usual, iniiwasan niya rin ako ng tingin. Hay, ewan ko ba rito, napakapogi pero ang sungit. He leaned his elbows on the table, gusto atang makipag-staring contest!

Tito Jackrin, His Dad placed a key in front of us. Jacques' eyebrows immediately met after seeing that, he looked away and shook his head, taking a deep sigh. I'm just looking at him, catching his gaze. 

"What's this?" Jacques asked.

"Key of your house." Tito Jackrin answered.

Jacques bite his lower lip and looked away. Ramdam na ramdam ko na ayaw niya sa mga nangyayari pero wala siyang magawa, parehas lang kami rito. "Can I say no just for once?" He asked. All of us looked at him except for his brother, who's minding his own business.

"No." Tito Jackrin answered.

"As what I expected." Jacques slowly nodded. "Do you agree with this marriage? or are you also a victim of your parents who wants to-"

"Stop, Jacques Wei! Your mouth!" Tita Elyna slapped the table. "You've been disobeying your father ever since. Could you just make this one thing possible for him to be proud of you? Huh?!" Tita Elyna looks really really angry. The happening's are really intense.

"Being the top 1 in class since I was a child until now a consistent dean's lister, I'm sure I will graduate Summa Cum Laude, hindi ba kayo proud don? Ha? I already made lots of achievements. Hindi ko lang alam kung bakit hindi pa rin kayo proud, kung ano ba talaga gusto niyo?! I'm so tired of being in this family!" Jacques stood up and went outside. 

"I'll just look after him. I'm very sorry po." I immediately stood up also and follow him but I was too late, nakasakay na siya agad ng sasakyan niya at nakaalis na rin agad. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath out of frustration. I didn't expect that this is going to be a mess.

"Make your patience long for my brother. Ahya has been carrying pressure since he was a child because he was the first born and first grandchild of the family. Maybe, he's tired. Ganiyan siya lagi kapag kaharap sila Mom and Dad that's why he barely talk. Wala siyang ibang ginawa kung hindi mag-excel sa academics." 

When I opened my eyes, I saw Jacques' brother, Jin. I just smiled at him, ang dami niyang sinabi. "Thank you for letting me know, I'll try my best to handle him." I nodded. He just nodded, akala ko may sasabihin pa siya pero all-in na pala 'yon. "Do you guys usually talk?" I asked.
