< Harry's POV >
Holy shit. Walking in today felt like death, got home at like half-past three in the morning and now it's seven and I'm already back in the station. And none of us are in a good mood either, so pissed off after last night and still so much to do before we attempt anything like that again, and I've still got to talk to Louis about everything.
"Morning boss. Feel as dead as all of us?"
"You fucking bet it Maxi" The whole office laughed and I perched myself on the edge of Liam's desk. Only Liam and I had actually gone home during the night, I went home because I needed to get a shower and sleep, Liam, on the other hand, didn't even get home - He headed straight for Zayn's place and from the last message I got from him, he didn't particularly have a problem with Liam banging on his door at four in the morning. Everyone else had worked straight through the night, warrants, surveillance, everything and that little prick was still in the cells, which I had to deal with.
"FUCKING SURVEILLANCE"
"Good morning to you too Liam"
"Nothing. They got fucking nothing"
"Chill. Sit down. And run us through it from the beginning"
He flopped down in his desk chair and threw his feet onto the desktop next to me, the whole room just stared at him waiting for an explanation "Okay so... I authorised team surveillance yesterday at 11 am and they saw him leave his main residence at 11:45 and then about an hour later enter his work property. The time difference between his home and work address is ten minutes, where he was during that hour is completely unaccounted for and we have reason to believe that the unknown property is where he is currently staying seeing as he hasn't been at his home or work and hasn't been seen since 7:30 pm when he was picked up by a black Land Rover Defender. The cameras weren't able to get a clear scan of the number plate so we have no idea who the driver was or who owns it."
"Fuck"
"Exactly"
"Well I want a list of all his known associates, car registrations that are in his name and, assuming that Rover picked him up to go to the party, I want a list of all the attendees last night and their cars. We can cancel out three cars: Mine, Marks and another car"
Maxi looked confused "Another car sir?"
"Yep. Maxi, I want you to do a list of known associates and Rob, a list of cars in his name. Go" They all left their desks and started moving around through files. I turned around to Liam "I want you to do the cars there last night, I'll get you Louis' registration, no one needs to know that I turned up with Louis last night. Plus he could be our way in so I don't want him involved if we can help it"
"Why are we even protecting that prick?!"
I didn't have time for his shit right now "Remember my threat last night? That still stands if one negative comment about Louis comes out of your mouth" I walked away from him and slammed my office door once I stepped inside.
I was still waiting on a reply from Louis since I texted him this morning, I mean it is only seven in the morning so he's probably still asleep
I sat at my desk for at least an hour doing nothing. Literally nothing. I had nothing to do so I just played a few games on my phone and scrolled through Instagram for a while. I was slowly running out of ideas and then a text popped up on my phone
Lou: Hope you got enough rest. I've got a few things to do today so sorry if I don't reply straight away x
Harry: Don't worry about it. I'm gonna be busy most of the day anyway x
