Thudding, rapid Thudding, exploding against the ground, slamming away, just what was this Thudding? That was what was going through this child's mind, this child that was simply wandering in the forest that surrounded voldenhome, he simply couldn't put a finger on it, what was it? It sounded familiar but he just couldn't recognize it, it was rhythmical, and it was also getting rapidly closer

And then he heard it, clacking, what he heard was horses galloping towards voldenhome, was he too late? Would he survive this? This no-name boy couldn't do anything, what could he do? He was paralyzed in fear, he couldn't run, the horses were much too fast, he'd be run down and killed, he didn't have the heart to move anymore, he couldn't move anymore, he was simply standing there accepting his fate

And then he heard the whinnying, the neighs all of those noises, they knew, they knew he was here, why did he think simply standing still could get him somewhere, he was now holding his breath, eyes closed his legs felt like jelly and he fell down, face planted in the dirt and his hands on the back of his neck, he was scared, tears run down his cheeks, he was extremely scared, he didn't know what to do except for just sit there and await his fate, he didn't have anywhere to turn to, there was no one to save him, there was nobody around, after all, who would be crazy enough to walk into a forest? Especially at this time of night? He had no hope, there was nothing

And then there it was the huffs, the neiging was closing in, it was ever so close and the clacking against the ground came to a halt, coming up and stopping so very close to the boy, he wanted to peak up, maybe he was safe, maybe he could run for it, just one peak? Yeah so he moved his hands off his neck and looked around to the right, to the left, he almost sighed in relief and then he looked up, there it was, the horse stood there, a man sitting atop, clad in Armour a sword pointed to the young boy

"get up"

The gruff voice called out, this man was truly sick, couldn't he just dispatch of the kid? Why did he have to make him do this and from his way of speaking there was no way this man was anywhere close to friendly

But of course the boy still wanted to live, he knew that if he didn't get up he would simply be killed on the spot so with hesitance and deep breaths he pushed himself off of the ground, looking up at the man who sat atop the horse and as expected his cold dark eyes only stared back at the child with no care at all, he didn't care if it was a kid, to that man he was simply another head to add to the count and he probably only did this just because he wanted to have some fun, they were heartless after all, this was why this kid never wanted to be a warrior, he didn't want to end up being like this guy, he didn't want to end up killing people for simply glory and war

He stared the man in they eyes even though his instincts screamed at him to move and to run, to get away from here, after all there was no other option, maybe he could run up the trees but what if he came up after him? What if he just wasn't fast enough? These thoughts ran through his mind but the child didn't even show a hint of fear which ticked the man off so he spoke again

"look at the ground boy"

Again he spoke and this time he wanted him to look away from his eyes? Did he want to see the fear in the kid's eyes? Well he wasn't going to show it, he knew that he was afraid but he just didn't show it, he didn't want to show it, he didn't want to give this sick and twisted man this satisfaction, he wanted to die without fear, he wanted to have lived his life to the fullest and simply embrace death, he was a child but he knew, he knew that he shouldn't show fear to this man, sure it was angering him but he didn't care, he was living, he was still alive

And then once he truly looked in his eyes without thoughts rapidly running through his mind he saw that they had widened, in surprise, why was that? Did something happen? Was he surprised by the boy's courage? That's when he realized that the man wasn't looking at him but behind the boy, over his head and when he listened for something coming he heard footsteps, rapid footsteps, somebody was here and from the looks of that warrior this somebody was here to save the kid
