Tony smiled to himself while he was pouring a couple drinks. He had an idea. He already knew the risks for his idea, but no one could technically stop him. His idea was to get Bruce drunk and see how he acts. Tony looked up from the drinks to see Bruce sitting on the couch, book in hand. He picked up the glasses and walked over to his unsuspecting partner. "Here Brucie, I got you a drink."
"Oh, thank you Tony." Bruce looked up at him and smiled. Tony smiled back and handed him the glass. Bruce brought it up to his mouth then stopped. He moved it away and shot Tony a look.
"What?"
"What is this?"
"Its um juice." Tony sat down beside him and took a drink of his own.
"No it's not."
"Ok maybe it isnt, but it's good." Tony grabbed the remote and turned the tv on. Bruce sighed and took a testing sip of his drink. It wasn't horrible. Tony watched him. Bruce sighed again and started drinking more.
It was some time later that Bruce figured out, he was drunk. Tony knew he wasnt that drunk because he only had a couple drinks. Bruce laid his head back against the couch and let out a deep breath. Tony took their glasses and headed toward the kitchen with the intent to refill them. "Bruce. You still with me?" Tony asked as he watched his partner's eyes close and body relax.
"What? Oh yeah, I'm here." Bruce looked over and smiled. Tony chuckled to himself and shook his head. He refilled their cups and walked back over. Bruce reached up for his and downed a quarter of it quickly.
"Whoa easy there. I dont want u getting sick on me." Tony say down and took a sip of his own. Bruce looked at him with as much of a serious face as he could muster. Tony raised a confused eyebrow at him.
"Tony. I need to ask you something very important." Bruce sat up and turned to face Tony fully. Tony sat his drink down on the coffee table and nodded at Bruce.
"Alright. What do you wanna know?"
"You have to be honest with me." Bruce told him. Tony was more confused now and nodded again.
"Alright Bruce. I can be honest." Tony heard a sigh come from Bruce.
"Are you a unicorn?" Bruce asked.
"I'm sorry. I didnt fully catch that. Can you repeat it please?"
"Are. You. A. Unicorn?" Bruce sounded each word out like he was talking to a small child. Tony lightly slapped his leg which earned him a smile.
"No baby, I'm not a unicorn." Tony told him. Bruce yawned and started leaning against the couch more.
"Are you sure? Because I always thought you were a unicorn trapped in a humans body." Bruce closed his eyes, his words started to slur with sleep and alcohol. Tony smiled fondly and picked him up. Bruce cuddled into him, nuzzling his face in Tony's chest.
"I can assure you Brucie that I'm not a unicorn. Now I think it's time for bed." Tony made his way down the hall and to their room. Bruce let out a small hum.
"Mkay. But you still a unicorn to me."
"Whatever you say Brucie." Tony laid him down in bed and pressed a kiss to his forehead. Bruce leaned into the touch, and within seconds he was fast asleep. Tony sat down on the bed and looked up at the blinking red dot on his ceiling. "Did you record all of tonight Jarvis?" Tony asked the dot.
"Yes sir. The file is saved in your personal folder." Tony smiled and laid down, pulling his sleeping lover closer.
