Tony was putting the finishing touches on the party. He couldn't stop smiling since he got the email and showed Bruce. They got accepted and were getting their third child. Tony walked over to his husband, who was pulling the cake out of the oven. He wrapped his arms around Bruce and kissed the back of his neck. Bruce sighed, leaning back into him. "Excited?" Tony asked.
"Beyond. I can't wait. When should he get here?" Bruce turned around in Tony's hold and smiled.
"Soon. She said she will message me when she gets here." Tony fidgeted with Bruce's shirt.
"Alright." Tony and Bruce walked into the main living room where everyone was having fun. Peter and Morgan were sitting in front of the TV playing a game and talking. Bucky, Sam and Steve were by the window. It looked like Sam had a hand on Bucky's lower back and another on Steve's arm. Tony raised an eyebrow at them but moved over to the couch to sit. Everyone was still showing up or were already there hanging around.
About halfway through the evening, Tony gets a message. After quickly looking at it, he gets up and leaves. Peter looked over at his dad. "Is he here?"
"I believe so." Bruce smiled. Morgan squealed and ran over jumping into Bruce's arms. He caught his daughter and held her to his chest. Peter walks over and stood beside his dad. They didn't wait long before the elevator doors opened and Tony walked in with a blanket in his arms. The team went silent and looked over. Bruce and the two kids walked over.
"Is that him?" Morgan tried to look over. Tony nodded and moved the blanket to reveal the baby boys face. He looked up at them all and cooed softly.
"Whats his name?" Peter asked, playing with the baby's hand.
"Miles." Tony smiled. "Do you want to hold him?" Peter nodded and Tony gently laid Miles in his oldest arms. Peter looked down at him and smiled.
"He's adorable." Peter gently rocked his new brother as Miles waved his small fist around in the air.
"I wanna see my brother." Morgan tried to get down so Bruce set her down. Peter kneeled on the ground so Morgan can look at him better. Steve walked over and looked down at the baby.
"He is cute, but won't he stand out."
"That doesn't matter, Steve. He's our kid now. We're gonna love him regardless." Tony stared the older man down. Steve nodded and let Miles grab his finger. Bruce smiled at them all.
After everyone was introduced to Miles, the tired family settled down when everyone left. Miles was sleeping on Bruce's chest. Morgan was curled up in Tony's side, half asleep. Peter was sitting on the floor in front of them, texting Ned and MJ. Tony looks around at them and sighed. "Alright, I think it's time for bed."
"But dad." Peter started.
"No buts. Bedtime." Tony stood up and picked Morgan up. Peter sighed and walked off to his room after saying his goodnight. Tony took Morgan to her room, tucking her into bed. After he was done, he walked to his room where Bruce and Miles was already at. Bruce gently laid the baby in the crib. Tony insisted on having their babies sleep in their room until they are old enough to sleep alone without risks. Tony walked over and wrapped his arms around Bruce. They looked down at their new sleeping baby.
"Tony?" Bruce whispered.
"Yea baby?" Tony kept his own voice now.
"Thank you. This is the perfect family. It's everything I could have asked for."
"I should also thank you. You and these kids made my life worth living. Without you I don't know where I would be." Tony kissed Bruce's cheek. They got ready for bed, laid down and Bruce pulled Tony into his chest. They fell asleep shortly after.
