"Hey Tony. Guess what?" Bruce walked into the room with a box. Tony looked over and raised an eyebrow.
"What's up?" Tony got up and walked over to him. Bruce smiled and set the box down on the kitchen counter.
"I got you a present." Bruce told him. Tony looked confused and eyed the box. Bruce walked over to the elevator and grabbed the other items he got. Tony wasn't paying much attention to him, to focused on the box. Tony heard something scatter around.
"What is it?" Tony asked, looking over at his boyfriend. Bruce chuckled and walked over to him. He wrapped his arms around Tony's middle and kissed his cheek.
"You have to open the box, genius." Bruce told him. Tony scoffed and crossed his arms. Bruce chuckled more and pulled away. Tony stepped closer to the box and opened it. Inside was a baby panda hamster. It looked up at Tony and squeaked. Tony smiled and gently picked up the small animal. Bruce smiled at Tony. Tony gently pet the hamster.
"Bruce I....." Tony couldn't think of what to say. He turned around and kissed Bruce. Bruce smiled and kissed him back. Tony pulled away from him and set the hamster back in the box. It ran around some then started digging in the bedding. Tony smiled. Bruce walked over and started setting up the cage.
"Where should we put him Tony?" Bruce asked. Tony hummed in thought.
"Our room." Tony smiled. Bruce chuckled and took the cage to their room. Tony picked up the box and carried it to the room.
A couple weeks later, Tony woke up to squeaking. It wasn't new to him, but the way the squeaking sounded worried Tony. Tony got up and looked inside the cage. Tony let out a surprised shout. Bruce groaned and rolled over, waking up. "Tony what's wrong?"
"I thought you said she was a boy." Tony turned to face Bruce. Bruce sat up, confused.
"Tank is a boy Tony. That's what the pet shop said."
"Yeah well the pet shop lied. Tank is having babies." Tony turned back to the cage. Bruce got up and walked over. He looked in the cage and saw what they thought was their male hamster have another pup.
"Oh great. What are we gonna do with all these babies?" Bruce groaned and laid down on the bed.
"I bet Steve and Bucky will want a couple. They love animals. They would help them both be more responsible." Tony smiled and sat down beside Bruce. Bruce chuckled and sat up.
"That is true. I just find it funny that two super soldiers act like little kids whenever they see an animal. Couldn't imagine how they will react if they get one of their own." Bruce laid his head on Tony's shoulder. Tony smiled and wrapped an arm around his shoulders. Bruce smiled and nuzzled into his neck.
"I think they will be overly happy. I know they will take very good care of them. Maybe spoil them." Tony said. He pressed a kiss to the top of Bruce's head. Bruce yawned.
"I agree. Can we go back to bed? We can call them tomorrow and ask if they want a couple if they survive." Bruce laid back down and curled up under the blanket. Tony laid down and cuddled into his boyfriend.
"Yeah. I'm tired. I'm just excited."
"I know you are Tony. For now lets sleep." Bruce held Tony close and closed his eyes. Tony yawned and closed his own.
"I love you Bruce. Thank you for the gift."
"I love you too Tony and your welcome. Now go to sleep before I knock your ass out." Tony smiled and fell asleep.
