Tony walks into the kitchen to find Bruce eating cereal in a hoodie. His hood pulled up, head down. Tony walked up behind him, wrapping his arms around him and leaning against his back. Bruce smiled leaning into Tony's chest. "Hey." Tony smiled looking down at him.
"Hey Tony." Bruce said smiling back.
"So I was thinking-"
"That's never a good thing." Bruce interrupted smiling more.
"Hey not nice. So anyway as I was saying. I was thinking about adopting a kid." Tony told him, looking down. Bruce sat there in silence for a couple minutes. "Bruce. Hello Earth to Bruce do you copy?"
"A kid?"
"Ya why not?"
"Tony you can barely take care of yourself."
"Hey I'm more then capable of taking care of myself." Tony said, pulling away from Bruce. Bruce let out a sigh then turned around.
"I know Tony but a kid. That's a little different then yourself." Bruce said, standing up to put his bowl in the sink then turns back around to face Tony.
"Bruce I know. I already thought about everything." Tony said, walking over. Bruce sighs again, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Are you totally sure about this Tony? You know this isn't like a project you cant just disguard it whenever you want to." Bruce told him.
"I know like I said I already thought of everything. Pepper can babysit when we have Avengers stuff. I know the others would watch out for the kid too. Trust me I thought of everything."
"Alright fine Tony. You win." Bruce said, feeling a headache coming. Tony smiled walking over to kiss his boyfriend. Bruce kissed him back, smiling softly into it. Tony pulled back with a smile then walks out of the kitchen to call around. Bruce stood there with a smile of his own.
A couple days later and Tony is still looking. The Avengers had just gotten back from a mission and everyone was tired. Bruce and Tony made their way to their floor. Tony walks in with Bruce right behind him. Tony walked over to the fridge while Bruce flopped on his back on the couch.
"Sir you have a missed call from a Mrs. Hiller." Jarvis told him a few moments later. Tony smiled and ran to grab his phone he left. He dialed the number while Bruce was giving him a strange look.
"Hello." A gentle female voice said, answering the phone.
"Hi I'm Tony Stark I called a couple days ago." Tony told here walking into the bedroom with a hopeful smile. Bruce stayed on the couch to give him some privacy. A couple minutes later Tony came running out, grabbing keys and throwing a quick 'ill be back' at Bruce before he left.
About an hour later everyone was in the common room talking. They all looked up when they saw Tony walk in with a little blue blanket and a bag. Bruce walked over to him with a small smile. "quiet he's sleeping." Tony said looking at everyone with a smile. Bruce looked at the baby in Tony's arms and saw a small adorable baby boy sleeping peacefully cuddled in Tony's chest.
"What's his name?" Bruce asked, smiling up at Tony.
"Peter."
