Joseph watched as Aesop hurried away with another boy. He had seen them hanging out a few times recently. Did he... Did Aesop already replace him ? It was understandable. After what he did, he too would have moved on quickly, and yet, a part of him wished it never happened. But the deed was done. He lost the one who meant so much to him without even realizing it.

All because of that night... The body of another person was next to him while he was still dating Aesop. Aesop surprised him on the spot and that was the event that marked their breakup. Why on earth did he do that ? He also wondered. It was a stupid act. He wasn't sure if he really loved him at the time and couldn't resist the temptation. That person's words had been echoing in his head ever since : "You can't blame me for showing that your fidelity was all for naught."

________

Eli listened to what had happened between the two men. He never thought that a man who looked so dignified as Joseph was capable of such a thing but as they say, one should not trust appearances. He was unable to say anything when the male finished his story, he could only show a sorry face for him. Their cups were already empty since a while and only silence reigned until one of the two cleared his throat to speak.

"No need to make that face, I've been over it by now." declared Aesop.

"S-Sorry..."

"Again, no need to apologize."

"Um... If by chance, say he still loves you and comes back to you... You'd get back together with him...?"

Aesop raised an eyebrow. Ha, if someone could slap him, Eli thought. He just said something strange again. Obviously, delicacy really wasn't his forte. Eli panicked, looking for a way to make up for it, but the immaculate-haired boy laughed before revealing a bitter smile.

"That bastard wouldn't even deserve me to look him in the eye."

Aesop's cold tone chilled Eli's blood for a moment. Then the silence returned quickly after that. There wasn't much left for the two of them to talk about so they paid the bill and left the café to go back to the university. The French class was already long over and without them noticing the time passing, it was already lunch time. Since they were still together, Eli proposed to Aesop to come with him to the cafeteria, which he accepted without flinching.

There, they found Norton, sitting with Luca and Naib. Eli seemed to be seeing Norton a lot lately, or was it just an impression ? He himself was hanging out with Aesop more and more after all, so it was only natural that they would all start to get familiar with each other. Eli and Aesop quickly grabbed something to eat and soon joined the trio.

The five of them had a nice, quiet time together. Aesop noticed that Norton talked the most when he was with Luca, there seemed to be a certain chemistry between the two and he couldn't help but wonder if there was something going on between them. But he immediately erased these thoughts from his mind, he had already meddled enough in other people' business for the day...

_______

Somewhere, under a staircase, the eyes of two men were confronting each other. One was smaller than the other and was smirking as his opponent cornered him, his arm resting on the wall against which the smaller man was leaning. After a moment, one of the two began to speak.

"Is pinning people down like this one of your hobbies, Campbell ?" he said sarcastically.

"Hm ~ Maybe..."

"So what ? May I know the reason behind such behavior ?"

"It's simple, Luca Balsa, you pique my interest."

Luca certainly wasn't expecting this. He looked surprised at first, but the corner of his lips quickly turned up as he crossed his arms. The two men were in close proximity and they could almost feel each other's breath. The male in the striped top then resumed in a slightly mocking and defiant tone.

"Really ? But what makes you think I'm interested too ?"

"We can always try to change that ~"

"I admit I'd like to see that..."

The tall man then bent down a bit, clearing the distance between them...
