In the end, in the four months since they met, Eli had managed to win Aesop's heart and become one with him. They spent New Year's together and Aesop's birthday, in fact, practically every event of the year together.

Eli had managed to get an apprenticeship with a museum curator, while Aesop's work was presented to a famous art collector by Edgar, who decided to buy all of it and even offered to create his own personal exhibition, which he gladly accepted.

As for their friends, Luca and Norton were always happy together as well and Naib was finally recruited into a famous team after receiving an offer from their coach, thus becoming quickly popular. What a scandal it was when it was learned that his heart was already taken and that he was dating his club's manager in college.

Several years went by and they all graduated with flying colors.

Eli decided to move in with Aesop to a new, larger apartment for both of them. The money from Aesop's paintings was bringing in quite a lot of income for the household, but Eli didn't want to leave all the responsibilities to his partner and had also found a job as a conservator in a museum.

Eventually, Eli really did get engaged to Aesop. He did this quietly and simply, presenting his lover to his parents to gain their blessings. They also visited the graves of Aesop's parents, his mother having left him a few years ago and his father shortly after he was born.

Everything was going well.

It was a sunny day, the rustling of the trees added a natural touch to the festive music being played. Flower petals were falling from the sky and laughter of joy could be heard coming from all directions. A man with white hair and wearing a white suit stood by an altar, holding the hands of a young man with brown hair and wearing a dark blue suit. They exchanged a sweet look and each placed a ring on the other's hand.

"I love you..."

"I love you too..."

Their lips then met to seal and formalize their love, applause and shouts echoing through the area to congratulate them. This was the beginning of their new life. Their new life together and the opening of a new diary on it...

The end.
