The next day, Eli avoided Aesop at every turn. During the classes they had together, he would sit elsewhere away from him. When they passed each other in the hallways, he would give him an embarrassed look before tracing his path. After a while, Aesop was starting to feel annoyed by this. He kissed him without warning and now he was running away from him like the plague without even explaining himself ? He wasn't going to let this go.

He searched the entire building in hopes of finding him until he got a message from Norton saying they had just left their class together. Aesop gritted his teeth, it was the opposite of where he was right now and he would have to hurry if he wanted to catch up. Meanwhile, Eli was unsuspecting and talking quietly with Norton.

"Did something happen with Aesop ? You seem to be avoiding him today." he asked.

"O-oh, uh... Nothing special..."

"Hmm..."

Norton wasn't convinced but didn't look any further. They were about to leave the building when some rather loud footsteps caught their attention. They both turned around to find Aesop running towards them, out of breath. By reflex, Eli felt he had to run again, but Norton was quicker and held him by the collar. Aesop had time to reach them and took hold of Eli's arm with both hands. He raised his eyes towards him, throwing him a black glance. He was clearly upset.

"I... will kill you... But first, come with me..."

Norton let go of Eli and left them to deal with their problems. Aesop pulled Eli into an empty lecture hall and closed the door behind him before slamming the blue-eyed boy against the wall. Eli looked at him in surprise, it was a bit ridiculous since Aesop was shorter than him but he preferred not to say anything about it, feeling that it wasn't really the right time to make that kind of remark and it would only add fuel to the fire.

"So. I'd like you to explain why you did what you did yesterday." said Aesop.

"Y-you're asking me to explain this but..."

"Why did you kiss me ? W-why... avoid me after that..."

Aesop's voice was getting more and more shaky, it sounded like he was about to cry. No, he was already doing it. Hot tears were streaming down his face, he brought his hands to Eli's chest and clutched his coat between his hands, his head resting against it as well. Eli didn't know how to react, he didn't know why Aesop was in such a state and was slowly starting to panic.

"I... won't forgive you... if you do the same thing he did..."

Despite his cries, Aesop's words still reached Eli's ears and he immediately understood who this "he" was. It was then that he realized the mistake he just made. Could it be that his behavior made Aesop believe that he was simply playing with his feelings ? That was not his intention and he felt bad for making him suffer like that. He put his arms around his shoulders and gently stroked his back with one hand and the male's hair with the other. Slowly, Aesop's tears stopped.

"Sorry..."

"Are you planning to leave me too...?"

"N-no ! Aesop, I-"

The two men were now looking each other straight in the eyes. Eli's hand, which was in Aesop's hair, went down to his face to wipe away his tears. It then slid down his cheek and once again... he sealed the young man's lips with a kiss. He wasn't really good with words so he thought responding with actions would be more effective.

This time, Aesop kissed him back. It was both sweet and salty. They kissed for many minutes, their ragged breaths echoing through the room. Eli now had his arms around Aesop's waist and Aesop had his around his neck. No words were exchanged. Their lips were one and the same, and it was enough to make them understand how they felt about each other.

After several soft embraces, Aesop slightly pushed the chest of Eli to regain air but this one brought back his lips against his once again, one of his hands being under his silver hair so that he would not escape. His tongue then penetrated in his mouth, thus passing to the higher stage. The passionate kiss continued for a moment longer before Eli pulled away, Aesop leaning against his chest to stand.

"You... You rascal..." he whispered.

Eli chuckled before placing one last kiss on his lover's forehead...
