A/n:Hello again and welcome for another chapter!:D*applauses*Little summary on this chapter:Sonic and Knuckles get more info about the case but Knuckles leaves the office leaving Sonic baffled.Knuckles and Silver start to put pieces to the puzzle together behind Sonic's back.The mystery P.O.V,revealed to be Scourge,is on the move with his partner Fiona Fox.

Sonic's P.O.V

I waited for Knuckles to meet me in our office.I chuckle to myself when I realized I got here before he did.Crossing my arms I leaned against the desk the way Knuckles would.I tried mimicking his face and even the way he talks.

"What are you doing."

I jumped and spun around to see Knuckles leaning against the doorway.Chuckling nervously,I cleared my throat and used a deeper tone.

"Oh uh hey Knuckles,"I said.

He shook his head as he emerged into the office.Arms crossed he looked at me sternly.Knucklehead was dressed in his usual attire,he always looks the same.That stern expression,I'm pretty sure a smile has never crossed his face before.

"Sonic,we've analyzed the fingerprints on that pistol,"Knuckles said before showing me a cream colored folder.

He handed it to me and I opened it up.The first thing that caught my eyes were mugshots of a twiggy looking badger with matted fur and some missing teeth.I cringed and flipped the mugshots over to find the name.

"Sneech McDavis.Arrested for illegal drug use,stealing,and kidnapping,"Knuckles said gruffly.

I looked up at him,"You think he kidnapped her?"

He shook his head and went to his desk,looking through papers.

"No,he has the IQ of a fly.If he did kidnap her we would of found out sooner,"Knuckles explained.

"So you're saying he's not working alone?"I questioned.

"Exactly.I predict he's working with someone who's much more superior to him,like a boss,a higher boss..."

I watched as his eyes widen slightly.He looked around the room briefly before snatching up the folder.

"Sonic,I've got to discuss something with Silver,I want you to hang here got it?"Knuckles said quickly while heading for the door.

I blinked and followed him.

"Hey we're partners!I want to know what's going on!"I argue.

Shooting me a warning glance,he clenched his jaw.

"I said stay here rookie."

Before I could say anything else he fled,leaving me in the dimly lit office.I growled and kicked the desk,sending the pencil cup to fall and spill out its contents.I watched the pencils fall and hit the ground while the cup made a loud clink sound.I swear he can be such a pain in the ass.Just because I'm a rookie!We're partners and we're in this case together.I deserve to know what's going on.I could be really valuable to this case,I could know some information.

But no,he wants to be a stubborn mule and hoard all this case stuff to himself.I stare at the walls and try to calm myself.Breath.Relax.Breath.Relax.Now sighing I feel less angry now.I cross my arms and look up at the ceiling.I'm so confused.Why would Knuckles just run out like that?And why does he want me to stay here...
