Knuckle's P.O.V

The house creeks loudly before I leave.It's lonely most of the time,especially since my break up about two months ago.My ex girlfriend,Julie-Su,moved out two months ago.I sighed at the memories as I shut the door behind me.My keys jingle as I walk toward my white car.I pull my police cap over my dreadlocks.It's tough being a police,especially since it takes up all my time.

That's the reason why I lost my girlfriend,because I was never there when she needed me...But then again,she was never there for me either.She wasn't exactly the affectionate type,she was more the touch-me-and-you-die type.So I guess it wasn't meant to be....I haven't seen her since the break up.I can't tell if that's a bad thing or a good thing.

I slip into my car and start it up,turning up the radio.I love rap,it calms my nerves.I fix my mirrors as I drive out of my driveway and toward the street.It's almost five in the afternoon and I was headed to work.I gave that hedgehog a call,telling him he was in.Even though I was totally against it.That hedgehog has this attitude that makes me just want to slap him.His cockiness is annoying and his flirting is even worse.I clench onto the wheel while I drive,sighing in disapproval.

Staring off in the distance,I could see the beautiful sun setting.The colors were amazing,painting the sky.I now sigh in content,letting my troubles drift away.My whole drive to work was peaceful,good thing too.I saw the huge building coming up.This is where I work,the C.A.O.J. inc.During the day I work as a police.During this time,I'm an agent of the C.A.O.J(a.k.a Chaos Agents Of Justice)

I drive into the parking lot,then park in the space that is reserved.I turn off the car,get out,and lock the door.I walk onto the sidewalk,heading toward the two revolving doors.With a deep sigh,I slip in and walk to the front desk.

"Hey Sonia,"I greet the secretary.

She was currently talking to someone,the phone pressed up against her ear.Her fingers flew over the keyboard,her eyes glued to the computer screen.I leaned against the circular counter,waiting for her to finish.

"On its way sir!"She said smiling,then hung up.

I watched her turn to me with a exhausted sigh.

"Man,this job will be the death of me,"she said,rubbing her temples.

I chuckled,"It's not that bad."

Sonia shrugged,"Actually,next week I won't be working here.I'll be a secretary at a hotel for a week,just for a scene change."

"That's great.Now,is Silver in?"I asked.

I watched as she started typing in the computer,then picked up the phone.Her fingers pressed the number keys before waiting.

"Hello Silver?"

She paused.

"Knuckles is here to see you."

Sonia looked over at me and nodded.I also nodded before walking past her desk and to the elevator.When I stepped in,I saw Sonia wave at me.I waved back before the elevator doors closed on me.I pressed the now glowing button that read Bottom Floor.Silver the hedgehog is the boss of this whole organization.His father owned it when he was younger and now he owns it.His office is top secret,only I and other top agents are aloud down there.

Slowly the elevator goes down to the very bottom floor.When the doors open,I appear in a long silver hallway.It's all quiet as I walk,the only sound being my own footsteps.The hall ends at a grey metal door with a name plate mounted on it,reading Silver in bold.I clear my throat and knock on it.
