How Does She Treat You?

Malcolm's POV

I woke up as I heard a soft giggle come from my side. My eyes fluttered as it was met with the lights coming from the ceiling. I looked around to see that no one else was in the room but me and Dahyun. I assumed I fell asleep again like earlier.

"Dubu?" I asked and she stopped looking at her phone to look at me.

"Malcolm-ah! You're awake!" She smiled and I yawned.

"I'm guessing it's already dismissal time?" I asked and she giggled before nodding.

"You waited for me again, Dubu?" I smiled while having a confused face.

"Well...yeah. I wouldn't want to leave you here alone" She awkwardly smiled while scratching her nape.

"Thanks Dubu" I smiled back.

I looked at my phone and saw that it was already 6 o'clock. I sighed as it was the time that Chaeyoung leaves school for her special art classes.

Guess she left already

I fixed my things and looked back at Dahyun, who was watching some funny videos in the internet, laughing. I smiled at her cuteness before zipping up my bag.

"Oh um...by the way, Chaeyoung said...um that you should meet each other later at the usual cafe" She said.

"Oh...okay. Thanks Dubu" I smiled and she smiled back.

I was glad and nervous for later. I was glad that she wanted to talk but I was nervous after what happened yesterday.

"I have to go now Malcolm-ah...I have piano class" Dahyun awkwardly giggled and I nodded.

"Ah...okay then, Dubu. Thanks for being with the entire day" I smiled and she smiled widely like how she does usually.

"You're welcome, Malcolm-ah" She said and I nodded.

We both left the classroom and separated as we went to where we were going. I walked to the cafe and sat down on where I would usually sit when I wait for Chaeyoung.

I looked at my phone and saw that I still had a few hours before her art classes finish. I took the menu and looked for something to eat as I haven't eaten dinner yet. I ordered food and it arrived not long after. I took a spoonful of my food and my mind wandered off while I ate. I thought about Dahyun and how she stayed with me in the classroom the entire day because I fell asleep.

-Flashback-

I heard a giggle come from my frontside and it woke me up slightly. I slowly opened my eyes to see who it was.

Chae?

My eyes was met with Dahyun smiling while the sunlight gleamed on her face. She looked like an angel from my view. I felt my heart flutter and my cheeks turn red as I admired her longer. I shot up from my seat and was hit with the sunlight. I looked around the room to hide the blush on my face so that she wouldn't ask about it.

"Where is everyone else?" I asked before yawning.

"Oh...they left. It's already breaktime" She replied and I hummed before I looked at her.

I noticed that she didn't have food nor was she eating. So I was curious why she isn't.

"Aren't you going to eat?" I asked and she scratched the back of her neck.

"Ani...I'd rather stay here with you" She said, which made my heart flutter again.

I couldn't help but smile at her and think about these weird feelings whenever Dahyun would say or do something like this. The feelings though, it felt...really good.
