Malcolm's POV

It was another school morning. I was eating breakfast and scrolling through Instagram. I was mindlessly swiping up as nothing was getting my interest. Until, I stopped as I saw a familiar person. I swiped back to see if I was correct and I was. It was Dahyun.

I observed the photo and noticed it was in a park. She looked really beautiful in the photos. She looked really happy.

I wonder who took the photos

I turned my phone off and proceeded to preparing for school. I would be lying if I said Dahyun wasn't on my mind right now. I went to school and saw Dahyun going inside the gate. I ran to her and tapped her shoulder which made flinch a little before stopping.

"O-oh hey, Malcolm-ah" She greeted and I smiled at her.

"Good morning Dubu" I greeted back.

We started walking inside the campus and neither of us talked until I decided to start the conversation.

"Hey Dubu, did you like the-" I got cut off as I heard both are names get called by Chaeyoung.

"Dahyun unnie! Malcolm-ah!" She smiled as she made her way to us.

She squeezed in the space between me and Dahyun and joined us as we walked. They started talking with each other and I just stayed quiet and looked at the two.

After a while of walking, we separated from Chaeyoung and we went to our classroom. She didn't speak to me the entire way there nor did she talk to me at class.

Did I do something wrong?

I decided to ask her after class and I felt awkward and alone as I got used to talking to her all the time.

-Time Skip-

Chaeyoung just left for her art classes and I was waiting outside the entrance of the school building for Dahyun. I waited for a bit until she swiftly passed by me. I followed her towards the exit and was about to call her out but my voice got weak as I saw her walking towards a guy I've never met.

I looked down and just sighed before walking away.

Dahyun's POV

I made my way to Eunwoo and as if by instinct, I turned around but no one was there.

Weird...I could've sworn someone was there

"You okay, Dahyun?" Eunwoo asked which made me look back at him and smile

"A-ahh yes, sorry" I replied and he chuckled.

"C'mon, let's go" He smiled before we walked together.

Malcolm's POV

-Time Skip-

I was laying down and staring at the ceiling. I couldn't get Dahyun out of my head. They way she looked at that guy...She was happy.

Just when my feelings were clear, things like these happen. I sighed as I tried my best to drift to sleep.

Face it, she's happier with him
