She stared down at the small spec that was Toothless and Hiccup, and she took a deep breath, pushing down gently, signalling the dragon to fly down to them. Once they were close enough, she pulled back, hoping her dragon would stop - "Oh thank Thor." She said, as her dragon slowed, and came to a stop, flapping her wings to keep them suspended. Hiccup just stared at her with a fond smile on his face, and she returned a toothy grin. Not the terrifying grin he saw on the boat months ago, with violent intentions, an aura of danger around her, but a genuinely smile, her eyes sparkling, as she sat on her dragon. "Are you coming, Haddock?" She asked, staring him down. He nodded, and climbed onto his Night Fury, and joined her up in the sky. It was relatively silent on the way back to Berk, with the occasional scoff from (Y/N) when Hiccup would show off, doing spins and tricks on Toothless. "Okay, now you're just rubbing it in." She said, rolling her eyes with a faint smile on her face. "I have to! You've tamed your first dragon. You're a dragon rider now, you need to see all the cool tricks you'll be able to do!" He said, his eyes sparkling with wonder. She felt a sharp flutter in her chest as she stared at him. But it went as quick as it came. A blush rose to her cheeks as she tore her gaze from Hiccup. Berk came into view, and (Y/N) sighed contently. "I don't think I'll ever get used to this flying thing." She said, shaking her head. Hiccup laughed. "Astrid said the same thing, now she's amazing." He said. (Y/N) nodded her head, feeling some kind of pang in her chest after hearing him talk about Astrid. 'Ugh, this is embarrassing.' She thought. Her first thought was to talk to someone when they got back, but then she remembered, she wasn't exactly a favorite back on Berk. She just sighed, and figured she'd figure it out when she got back. They landed quietly on the island, the sky becoming a deep blue as the sunset. "Wow, I guess we were out longer than I thought." He said. She nodded, just tired from the flying, being out all day, and her near death experience when her Sand Wraith just took off like that. 'She needs a name. I can't just keep calling her Sand Wraith.' She thought. She got off her dragon, and walked around so she could examine her face. She gave her some kind of a smile, and (Y/N) chuckled. She stared pensively for a bit, when Hiccup spoke. (Y/N)? You go-" "Miroh." She intervened. "Uh- Huh?" Hiccup asked. She smiled and looked at him. "I'm gonna name her Miroh." She repeated. He stared at her for a second longer, before turning to the dragon, and smiling. "It fits her." He said, scratching under her chin, which she really enjoyed. She smiled at the interaction. "Where do uh, where do you guys keep your dragons when you sleep?" She asked. "I don't know about the others, but Toothless sleeps in my room with me." He replied. She nodded, but then frowned. "I don't want Miroh to have to sleep in a cell." She said, hugging her arms to her chest. "Or, well, I guess she was wild until a few hours ago. A cell wouldn't be the worst place she's slept." She added. Hiccup smiled weakly at her. "Don't worry, you won't have to be spending your nights in the cell for much longer." He said, placing a hand on the small of her back to lead her to the cells. "Wait!" She shouted, stopping. He looked at her quizzically. "I uh.. I want to talk to.. Ah, there's something I need to talk to someone about, but I can't talk about it with you." She said, avoiding his gaze. "Why not? What is it?" He asked, confused. 'Shit..' She thought. "It's just.. It's nothing super important, but I'd like to kind of uh, expand who I talk to, you know?" She said, spitting out the first lie she could think of. He examined her face for a bit longer, before smiling weakly. He knew she was lying, but she didn't want to push her. He was nervous about what she could need to talk about so badly, but he needed to have some faith in her if he wanted to keep making progress with her. "Okay, uh.. Well, I think your best bet would be.. Astrid?" He suggested, her eyes widening. "No!" She exclaimed, quickly trying to think of a reason. She composed herself. "I already have spoken with Astrid. We've already been introduced. I want to talk to someone I haven't really met yet. It doesn't count as expanding my options if I've already spoken with them." She explained. She thanked Thor for being such a good liar, because Hiccup didn't seem to question it at all. "Alright, well then I think maybe you could talk to Gobber, or Eret, depending on what it is you want to talk about. Lucky for you, at this time they're both in the forge, so you won't have to go far if you decide you can't handle Gobber." He said, now leading them to the forge, laeving the Sand Wraith and Night Fury to play on the path.
