The Bangtan boy's apartment was turned upside down at the news that they were flying to Ireland. Dozens of shirts, multiple pairs of pants, uncountable number of jackets, overcoats, and sweaters all flying around as each of the boys tried packing enough clothes for the two weeks they were staying in cold, damp, rural Ireland. Jin had gotten a call from Hyejin two days ago updating them on the crew and setting of the shoot. If he was excited upon hearing the foreign country he was even more exhilarated to hear that they were staying in a castle but Namjoon and Taehyung on the other hand got excited at the news that she was able to get Reyna Lee on board, their dream photographer. Only, as agreed, she would be the visual director but still, they were happy to know she'd be there.
The next day after receiving the call from Hyejin, the three oldest members updated Bang PD about the timetable and final plans. They also informed him about the collaboration with Reyna Lee which Bang PD kindly shared to the media, saying that the exposure and publicity from this information will add to the album's popularity.
Which was apparently a brilliant idea. Since Reyna Lee has been said to work with exclusive companies and only a few people within her trusted inner circle, BTS having her as a collaborator for their upcoming album meant that BTS was a band that wasn't to be reckoned with, something that elevated their best boy band status even higher.
So now they were currently extra hyped and was scrambling all around to make it time for their flight. Rachel had taken care of all the bookings and transportation they were to take to get her castle. She had sent the flight details, itinerary, and tickets to each of the members emails adding specific instructions given by Hyejin.
As agreed on, they were to come alone, all seven of them. No guards, no managers, no assistants. Not only was Hyejin against having to pay for so many people, Reyna was also quite particular about the people they were going to surround themselves with for the next two weeks and 10, as Reyna counted, were already too many to accommodate.
Also in the email were instructions to meet up with one of their crew members at the airport, she had been so kind enough to pick the boys up so they wouldn't be lost on the way, and was something Dahee wanted to do so she didn't have to go to Ireland early like the rest. She didn't want to see Reyna yet, she wasn't ready, she didn't think she ever could be actually. So to chaperone was the best get out of jail card she could possibly think of.
Dahee waited for the boys at the entrance of the airport, it was quarter to two in the morning, barely anyone catching flights meaning there were little to no one around, besides the guards stationed at the airport who were informed that BTS was indeed flying that morning and was sent their in case any of the fans found out and decided to greet them. Thankfully, there were no fans around, probably too early for them to be fangirling anyway.
As the clock hit 2 A.M. three white vans pulled up, each one being unloaded with bags and boys. She didn't have a clue which was who, it's not that she didn't know who BTS was she just, well never had any interest in pop culture and didn't think she would need to know who they were, until now. She shook each of their hands, introducing herself as the editor for the film with a bow, one of the boys piped in "Oh, I've met you before, at the art gallery." The boy who owned the deep voice, pulled down his face mask and waved at her revealing his boxy smile. Dahee recognized him to be Taehyung, remembering him from the time she bought Reyna's photographs in New York about a week ago "Oh yes, nice to see you again, small world." She chuckled as he bowed to her in return.
She said she'll be able to memorize all their names by the end of the flight hopefully and Hoseok, who asked to be called Hobi instead, told her not to worry about it. Taking his word for it, they all went to get their boarding passes and go through security before entering the private plane they were taking to go to Ireland.
All the boys had been shocked when you told them that their makeup artist for the shoot was the one who provided the plane. Basking in all its luxuriousness. With a seating capacity of twelve and built in large tables in front of some of the sections, it looked like a businessman's dream. While Yoongi claimed the whole area at the back, Dahee choosing the single seater while Jin took the other, the rest of the members each claimed their own spot on the big sectional.
The flight attendant had so kindly helped them store their carry on properly and had given them each a drink of their choice. With coffee or tea being most of the members choice, Jin, Jimin, and Yoongi decided to have a toast of bourbon, savoring the warm feeling the liquid gave them.
11 hours later they had landed in Dublin Airport, getting picked up on the runway by a private bus, also sponsored by Miss Rachel Ryu. Which took them to the town Carrickfergus where the apparently rich makeup artist's castle stood atop a hill. From where they were driving they could see that the backside of the castle was built facing a lake, that glimmered under the might rays of the sun, they were in awe of the view and Jungkook asked how it was even possible that the makeup artist could afford all of this "Her dad's a business tycoon, she's an heiress." Dahee mentioned all the companies under Mr. Ryu's belt, the boys recognizing every single one and were even more astounded at the well known international brands that he apparently possessed.
By the time the boys had calmed down and come to terms with the enormous wealth they're makeup artist had to her name, they made it to the gates of the castle, marveling even more at the beauty held with the walls of the castle. Fountains and flowers, man shaped bushes and tall trees, stoned pavement and high grass walls, it all looked enchanting. Like the whole place was taken out of a fairytale, Namjoon couldn't help himself say "Wow" aloud and over and over again. The maknae line all pointing towards things that caught their interest, getting the attention of the other by exclaiming "Oh!" While the others just stared at it's brilliance.
It was different feeling for Dahee. It felt like she was back where her youth had taken place which brought over a nice calm, a sense of warmth taking over her heart. She could've cried then and there, not bothering to care if the boys looked at her weird, but she stopped herself from doing so as they came near the main door, there stood one of her best friends, Rachel.
It had been so long since she had seen her. And it had been long since she could call her her friend.
