8. A closet of memories

I'm really really sorry for the late update, ik I have been AWOL for last few weeks and I apologise for that. I won't take anymore time;))

The trio - De Luca, Romanov and Bianchi had decided to have a family meet that day, they had all flown to their private island with their families.

Even the children were excited to finally meet each other, the De Luca used to live in Italy at that time and had just decided to move to USA. They were meeting after a long time.

Everyone was busy with the preparations of the dinner that was going to be held. The 7 year old stood on her balcony observing everyone on the beach. She saw a few kids playing, she went down to take a closer look as to what they were doing. She saw a girl in red and two boys ( dressed in black and blue)played in the sand and running around, all seemed to be of her age. They were playing hide and seek. The boy wearing black T-shirt was counting the numbers while the other two were hiding.

Red was looking for a place to hide when she wanders to where she was standing. She looked at her and indicated her to be quite. Black had finished counting, he spotted her and asked, "Have you seen a girl in a red dress coming here?".

She looked at him, "Yes, she went that way." She pointed to the opposite direction of where Red was. The boy left with a thank you.

Red came out of her hiding place and said "Thank you for not telling him anything. By the way I'm Nicole, you can call me nikki. And the guy you just met was my twin Nic."

"Nice to meet you nikki, I'm Tamyra." The two girls had big smiles on their faces. That's how their friendship began.

Suddenly someone call Tamyra's name. A maid came to her and said,"Ms, Mrs. De Luca is calling you."
"Okay" Tamyra turned towards nikki and said with a smile,"See you later Nikki."

Who knew that this was going to be the first and the last family vacation for the De Luca's.

Tringggggg!!!!

The bell rang pulling me out of the memory and indicating theend of the lecture. It was lunch break. It was the only happy memory I had. I got up taking my things and got out of the class with Ri on my side.

"Principessa, what just happened earlier in the parking lot?" He had a confused look on his face. I sighed. We went to the lockers. Ours were side by side.

"They were my friends from back then. Nikki and me, we used be practically glued at the hip. We were always together" I smile remembering the times." Carlo the protective one but was actually a softie. Don't tell him that I told you otherwise he won't let me hear the end of it." I said with a laugh, " and Nik...." my mouth went dry, I didn't know what to say, Ri raised an eyebrow "he - it's complicated." I let sighed.

Ri didn't seem to believe what I said, it was like he already knew that I wasn't telling him everything. I just hope he would let this pass and not notice it. "Hmm" was all he said.  Before he could say anything else Nikki had joined us the conversation ended there for the time being.  I really hope that this topic never comes up again, I don't want to open the chapters I already closed a long time ago.

We went to the cafeteria. The guys were already there since their class was near the cafeteria. Nikki sat on my right while Ri sat on my left. Nic and Carlo were sitting on the opposite side.

"Hey Tam, you remember the tradition right??", Nikki said, she practically looked like the kid on Christmas.

"Hope you haven't forgotten while you were away. " Carlo looked at Nikki, I'm damn sure they have planned something, and it's never good when those two team up.
