It was dark outside when I reached home. I slipped in through the door in the kitchen which was only used by the staff. I was exhausted from all the things that had happened, I didn't even dare to look behind to make sure that he got inside as well.
Why should I care. I shrugged my shoulders it wasn't like we were friends or something. Yeah keep saying that to yourself. Oh look who decided to show up. I'm your conscience dumbass. You sure have the worst timing in the world. She just rolled her eyes at that! Rolled her eyes?! We are practically the same person man! I scoffed.
To go to my room which was on the 2nd floor I would have to cross by the living and my father's office and there was no way I could go unnoticed. I winced at the thought of dealing with him right now. I slowly made my way towards my room. I reached my door and was about to do a fist pump when my name was called. I freezed, I bet I probably looked like a deer caught in head lights.
As I turned around I saw my father was facing Ricco as he said "I'll be going on a business trip tomorrow. And won't return until the next week. Try to reframe from doing any tomfoolery."
Though he was facing him I knew all too well to whom those words were dedicated. It irritated me to no ends that he wouldn't even acknowledge my presence. It wasn't like he had a big family or something, I was the only thing left to call family. But if he was going to behave like this then so be it I wouldn't listen to him either.
I closed the door with a slam. I laid on my bed. The exhaustion weighing down on me as I closed my eyes. The last thoughts were about a certain black eyed guy.
________
(The next day)
Poke!
I turned to the other side without opening my eyes.
Poke! Poke!
I pulled the comforter above my head.
Poke! Poke! Poke!
I laid still not moving. I heard him sigh.
"Wake up, or else we will be late." He said. I just grunted in return making no move to get up. He sighed again.
"Tamy - Principessa, I'm sorry for what I said yesterday, I shouldn't have said that, it was not my place to ask you anything. Principessa, look at me atleast....." I sat up and threw the comforter down.
"Ricco.....it's not that what you said was wrong or that you are wrong for asking anything. It's just, you can't expect me to open up to you when I barely know you." Hurt flashed across his face. "You have to understand that I'm not ready to deal with certain issues right now, it'll take time."
"Principessa, I'm sorry. Forgive me? Pls." He said making this, this face and I just couldn't deny.
"Ri, I'm still angry but........you can make it up to me?" I said giving him a soft smile. His face lot up like a kid on Christmas morning.
"I promise I'll make it up to you." And I saw him smiling like really smiling for the first time. That smile reached his eyes, and was damn contagious. Gosh I swear this guy can make anyone do anything.
"By the way, Ri? Really Principessa?" He said with that smirk of his. And the arrogant Ricco is back. I thought rolling my eyes.
"Now get out I need to shower."
"Principessa are you sure you don't need some help?" He said wiggling his eyebrows. I could feel my face growing hot by hearing that. I threw a pillow at him.
