Y/N's POV

I went to the kitchen to where Renjun is eating dessert. "hey Jun... Yumi is here." I said nudging his arm. "and what do you want me to do?" he asked whilst shoving a spoonful of cake into his mouth.

I've never seen someone eat so elegantly- "don't you think it's time for you to you know... Confess?" my voice was low, but enough for him to hear. "hmm.. Yeah maybe.." he said, hesitation clearly visible in his voice.

"but if you don't think it's the right time, it's okay.. There's always a next time." I gulped, flashing another smile as I pat his shoulder.

I left to go to the living room to where the people are busy chattering and celebrating. I went to the sofa where Yumi sat at. "boo!" she immediately exclaimed at my act, "yah! you scared me you punk!", "HAHAHAHA if only you can see your epic face earlier!" I laughed while pointing at her.

"I almost got a heart-attack you know!" Yumi said in exaggeration. "your so dramatic-", "I know right! I should go get myself an oscar!" she exclaimed once again.

we bicker almost the whole night and tried to catch up with each other as if it's been ages since we talked. She is overall a great and joyful friend, a loyal one also. It's hard to find a person like her, she is indeed unique.. And I am thankful for being friends with her.

I understood why Renjun developed a liking to her.. She's the perfect girl that everyone could ask for, and I'm just..... An average person.

[time skip; a few hours later]

Everyone already went to their homes to sleep and relax after the party. I helped Renjun and our parents cleaning up the area.

"Renjun sweetie, you should be resting by now! It's okay, we can handle this dear." I heard Mrs. Huang scold to him.

"it's okay mom! It'll be faster if I help." Renjun said, not listening to his mom and just went on cleaning.

"if you insist." Mrs. Huang sighed in defeat.

"shouldn't you be going home too Ms. Lee Y/N?" I heard my brother's 'drunk' voice from behind. "no, but it is sure your time to go home Mr. Lee Donghyuck." I said while sweeping the floor.

"nope!" he said as he flopped himself on the couch. "he sure is a brat." Renjun said as he looked at the wasted boy in disbelief.

I chuckled, "indeed.", "you done yet?" Renjun asked as I check the floor for any more stupid dirt, I looked up to him "yeah, now I guess I should go." I said.

"oh my guacamole with cheese! You sure are wasted Haechan!" I heard my mom exclaim as she put Haechan's arms on her shoulder.

"my bones are too weak for this dipsh*t!!", "I- what the... Uhm, let me help you mom-" I said giving her a lending hand before all her bones break in vain.

After a couple moments we finally have successfully yeeted Haechan in the car. "good night and good bye Mr., Mrs. Huang, and to you too Junnie!" I said bidding good bye to them and they bid back too.

[at Y/N's bedroom]

"ugh, finally rest time.." I groaned as I lay myself comfortably on my fluffy bed. I fell into dreamland so soon as I was very tired.

[the next day]

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH IT F*CKING HURTS!!!!" I smiled as I enjoy my brother's suffering. "deserved." I grinned at Haechan who is screaming his lungs out in front of me because of hangover.

"you beach! You don't know how much I wanna rip off that smile off your ugly face! As if you understand my suffering tsk!" Haechan said while giving me death glares.

"yeah yeah, but I'm nice enough to cook you hangover soup. Eat up brat." I said ppl placing the bowl in front of him.

"awww, even though your such a devil you still have that bit of angelness in you sis! I love you!" Haechan said as he almost choke me with a hug.

"I love me too- now stop and eat before you choke me for real!" I said. "ugh, your such a tsundere tsun tsun dere!~" he sang as he put a spoonful of soup in his mouth.

"shut up. Anyways, I'll go watch T.V in the living room." I walked out as I hear Haechan shouting; "yah! Don't leave me!" but I couldn't care less anyways. :D

I was just watching peppa pig, definitely not traumatising myself at the process. When I heard a ring ring sound came from my phone.

I looked at the caller I.D, it's Renjun. I immediately picked up; "hey Jun, sup?" I said

"wanna hang out?" he said, in a quite sad tone though-

"uh sure.. Where exactly?"

"that hideout we go to since we were young." its been long since we've gon there..

"sure. I'll be there in 10 or 15 minutes. Bye Junnie!"

"bye."

The call ended, i wonder what happened...

"hey Hyuck, I'll just go out for a bit. Take care, mwah!" I informed to my brother and went upstairs to change clothes.

I wore a casual outfit today (just imagine any casual outfit you like) since we're just going to that place this'll do.

It's not that far from my house so I just walked to our secret hideout.

I think I'll just make this a 20 chapter long story... Because yk... I update quite slowly because of school.. so if I make it more longer then it'll probably take like a year to finish, depends on my mood though. 🥴
