Y/N's POV

I jumped up from the sofa happily as I hear Renjun's car from outside. I opened the door with a smile plastered on my face as I saw him standing outside with a checkered black and white jacket, white T-shirt underneath, and a black pair of jeans.

"nice outfit." he shortly complimented. "let's go?" he asked as he puts out his hand. "sure." I gladly took it as he leads me towards his car. "you know, you're not so bad yourself either." I said as I observed him from head to toe.

He chuckled, "I'm flattered." he said, putting a small peck on the back of my hand. I blushed at the sudden gesture.

"get in." I went inside the car. After a few moments he quickly went in too. "this suddenly feels nostalgic for some reason." I turn my head to him and smiled. "I know, cause I also feel that type of feeling too.

Because.. We are finally given the chance to heal one another's emotional wounds, that was caused by our tragic and fucked up past."

My eyes widen as my cheeks showed a tint of red with his words. "I'll help you heal this time." he added. "Wow Mr. Huang that's so poetic." I said sarcastically.

[at the playground]

"so your favourite ice cream never changed in the past 6 years huh?" I halted from eating as I heard Renjun. "yes! I mean, you can't blame me. Cookies n' cream is the best." I said, taking another scoop of ice cream.

"as much as I want to debate, I have to agree with that." he said in defeat. "no one can disagree with me HAHAHAHA." I laughed manically.

"Moving on, where do you wanna go next?" Renjun asked, standing up. "how about the movies, there's something I want to watch." I said also standing up.

"sure, let's go." I stood up too, and walked towards the car.

[at the movies]

"Renjun this this! Let's watch this shall we?" I asked him with a smile on my face. "sure sure anything for you." he answered and pinched my cheeks. "that hurts.." I jest, while pouting. "sorry, you're just too adorable you know that?" Renjun complimented with a chuckle.

"yes, I know that I'm the most epic of them all." I said, confidence overflowing. "yeah yeah, let's go get tickets! I'm excited for this movie, it seems interesting." with that he dragged me towards the cashier.

After getting the tickets we went inside the theatre and chose our designated seats. The movie was about mystery and thriller. I always loved mystery as a child, I enjoyed making theories and predicting the ending. So this movie really intrigued me.

"you sure love mysteries huh, Y/N?" Renjun suddenly spoke up. "yes yes. You still remember my interest huh, simp." I teased. "a simp, only for you though." he winked at me. "cliché, lol." of course I'll pretend I dislike it. "who the fuckity fuck says lol out loud?" he said which made me laugh.

"me. Anyways, the movie is starting so shut up." I tried to focus on the big screen in front of me, but just the mere presence of him beside me makes me feel all giddy up inside. 'this all feels too good to be true.' I thought, savouring each and every second of this moment we're sharing right now.

I felt a slight touch on my hand, I flinched slightly but was glad upon knowing that it's no other than Renjun. He held it and intertwined them together. 'what in the k-drama scene is this.' I said to myself, flashback of all the k-dramas I've watched in my head.

But this is way more better than any k-drama troupe in existence, it feels like the world has stopped spinning and that the only people in the theatre me and him. No one else.
