Andrew's POV
I walked out of her office like she had requested and leaned on the wall. I was so happy to see her but it was like she wasn't.
Apart from the obvious issue between us, it felt like there was something else, something she was deliberately hiding from me. I couldn't quite place my finger on it but I could feel it.
I know things are messed up between us, but I'm willing to set things straight, I'm always willing to set things right with her, no matter what it takes.
I heard footsteps approaching me and I looked up. I knew it was him, I didn't need anyone to tell me who was in front of me. He looked way better in person and I wouldn't blame anyone who fell for him.
He saw me and his steps faltered. He looked at me from head to toe and I could only imagine what he was thinking about me.
"You must be Andrew," he said as he came to a halt in front of me.
I stood up straighter. We were fairly the same height and though I worked out, he obviously worked out more than I did.
"And you must be Miles," I stated as we stared at each other.
"It's nice to finally meet you, Victoria talks about you a lot." He stuck out his hand at me, offering a handshake.
I looked at his hand then at him, "likewise." I shook his hand and forced a smile.
"Is she in?" He nodded to the door I just stepped out of.
I nodded, "yeah sure." I moved out of his way and let him go in, knowing that he'd be out of there in a second.
I know Victoria very well, if she doesn't want to speak to me then the chances of her speaking to anyone else were slim, especially Miles.
He nodded and opened the door, stepping in.
"What are you doing here?" I heard her say before the door closed.
If he stays in there for more than one minute, then sue me. I leaned back in the wall and began to count down the seconds before Miles would come out.
Fifty nine seconds and the door opened, Miles stepped out with a frown on his face. I looked at him and smirked.
"What did you say wrong?" I folded my arms and watched him.
"I have no idea," he ran his hand through his hair and began pacing the hallway.
I chuckled, somehow finding amusement in his frustration. Though I know exactly how he feels but the thought that someone feels the same kind of frustration I always feel makes me amused. Sick I know, but it's Miles we're talking about here.
"Maybe you should just go, this is between Victoria and I, you have nothing to do here," I said hoping that he would disapear.
He looked at me and slowly the corners of his lips tilted slightly. "I would have gone, if she didn't kiss me last night so I'm sure this has everything to d-"
I didn't let him finish his sentence before my fist interrupted him, punching him square in the face.
He held his nose and he looked at me, "I didn't really deserve that. After all she-"
Once again, he didn't finish his sentence before my fist met his face. This time a smug look took over is face and I rose my hand to punch him again but a hand stopped me this time.
"What the fuck are you doing?" Funke said, appearing out of nowhere, her hand holding mine suspended in the air.
I dropped my hand, "ask him."
