Emily's POV

Emily ran down the middle of a dark street. Luckily, it was the middle of the night, so she didn't have to worry about weaving between any cars. What she did have to worry about though, was weaving through the bullets that the UBSUB they were chasing decided to fire.

The loud sounds rang through the otherwise silent night. Nobody was out, and there were only a few lights on from the apartments above. Emily ducked behind a car, waiting for the bullets to subside.

After a few moments of silence Emily figured that the UNSUB had moved on, so she thought it would be all right to get up and follow. Obviously she was wrong, because a single bullet fired and she could feel the metal rip through her shoulder.

She cried out. "Ah! I've been hit."

Morgan wasn't that far behind her—just a few cars down—so he ran over to her to see how bad of a shot it was; It wasn't bad, and Emily said: "Go! I'll be fine."

So Morgan took of, followed by JJ. Everyone else was nowhere to be seen, and Emily suspected that they were up ahead somewhere coming from a different street, trying to corner the UNSUB.

Emily shifted around a bit, trying to sit up from her hunched position, and pain rippled though her shoulder. It wasn't that deep of a wound and was hardly bleeding, but boy did it still hurt.

She was trying to decide if she should stay here and wait for her team to come back or if she should just walk back to the station, but her thoughts were interrupted when someone shouted from the apartments above.

"You stay right there! I'm coming to help you."

Emily looked to where the voice came from and watched a woman three stories up make her way onto her deck. The woman started to climb down the fire escape with speed and agility. As soon as her feet touched the ground though, she had tripped on seemingly nothing. The woman got up fast, probably due to embarrassment but also with the urge to help Emily.

The woman ran closer and Emily could then make out her appearance; this lady had (h/l)(h/c) hair, sticking in many different directions like she just had been sleeping, and tired (e/c) eyes that also made it seem like she had just been woken up.

For clothing she wore a (f/c) bathrobe that was open to reveal Marvel Pjs (or any other cartoon you like!), and fuzzy bunny slippers topped of the look.

Emily thought she was adorable.

"I heard the gunshots then saw you laying here and realized you were hit," She said in a panic as she approached Emily. "Are you okay? Do you need me to call you an ambulance?"

"No I'm all right." Emily sat up a bit and winced. "It's just a bit deeper than a graze. I'm totally fine."

The woman sighed in relief. "Thank goodness I was worried you were gonna bleed out and die in front of me or something."

Emily smiled, finding the woman amusing. "Nope, not dying today."

"Still looks nasty though. I can patch you up at my apartment."
