Adrian and Denise are at Claremont. While there they deal with a bad neighbor, and then a new human purist situation. In Europe, the HPA (see Purity, HN 4)) associated group is the 'Society for the Protection of Mankind'. They have money and power, and they are the ones that had Adrian kidnapped from the Airport in Turkey ( see Missing Vampire: Reward Available, HN 6)
If Adrian has learned nothing else from his time as a Vampire, it is there is a time to be secret, and a time to be secretly bold.
