The woman that walked through the front door of the 'Olsen and Sagan' office required a double-take.

At first, I would have said early middle age, curved in ways I personally like (which is to say curvier than societal norms usually dictate as 'attractive'), wearing jeans with a small cabochon style silver belt buckle on her belt. A light jean jacket over a patterned shirt. Kind of flannel-looking, but not that thick. A cotton shirt pretending to be flannel. A Pendelton unless I miss my guess. The jacket is not a darted at the waist female cut, but a standard denim jacket. Slightly overlarge to fit the underlying shape in places, and the cuffs crisply and fashionably rolled up at the wrists to compensate for the size. The breast pocket decorations made me think it might also be a Pendelton and probably has a large woven decoration on the back I cannot see.

My first impression is that I like her taste in clothes, but wondered for a nanosecond why she dresses to downplay her not-at-all svelte form. Instant guess? To avert the male gaze.

Jessica has that problem. Her height intimidates, but her shape causes men interested in breasts to focus. That type doesn't even know she is 1.8 meters tall, or that the rest of her matches that one characteristic they are fascinated with. All they see are breasts. For many of them, breasts hovering in the air at their eye level.

As much as I love Jessica's Rubenesque form, it's her eyes that get to me. I suppose that makes me an 'eye man'. Maybe a hair man, as her long silky cascades of thick hair is also deeply appreciated. She can make a private world for just us using her hair.

A few microseconds later the way the woman entering our office walks hit me, and it had a new effect. Just two or three steps, but: Attitude. Eighty kinds of sexual self-confidence. I could see her walking into a room full of men, and despite not being the most classically attractive young woman in the place, drawing every eye. She is not young but she would light up every young mans MILF fantasy for a kilometer in all directions.

Two people in my life have had that effect on me on sight. Their first impression. Jessica and to a lesser degree, Morgan. Morgan would have had more impact, but the circumstances of our meeting were in my brother's office, so I was on my best behavior. Also: I utterly misread Morgan's return interest.

Neither of them is as classically beautiful as Helen. The face that launched a thousand ships. Helen has her own impact, but it's a slower burn. Her face combined with her cold and acerbic nature. I had no clue when I met her what she is like once the Ice Queen melted.

Same with Denise in a different way. Denise looks like a picture of her face should be on a box of something gentle and sweet. Sort of like the way Marilyn Chambers was way back when, on a box of Ivory Snow detergent. The sweet young face of the woman who became one of the most infamous porn stars of the 1980s. I imagine that was more about the contrast than any actual thing about her films, but ... who knows? I watched one of them out of Lori's classic porn collection once, and I am not a fan of Ms. Chambers's film work. Way too mental for me.

The point is: I am superb at being bad at reading who a woman is from a first impression. Especially if that woman is interested in me.

Morgan is working with me on that. My Vampire sensorium helps. As long as she is not interested in me, I'm getting pretty good.

I am not sure I wanted to be close enough to have this new woman's scent. That suddenly felt very dangerous.

I have a good view of the interesting woman's entrance from where I am sitting on the couch. I am looking over some data Angel sent me about a case on a computer. Angel is a full partner in the firm, yet she makes a point of having her desk reside in the large reception room of the 'Olsen and Sagan' office, so I make a point of working in here with her when I can.
