"Sirius, slow the fuck down!" Remus whined, lightly jogging down the ally way.
"I SMELL!" He shouted back, now in a full run.
"Well whoopdie doo," Remus mumbled, rolling his eyes, nearly tripping over a plant pot while doing so, "Shit"
"LE POULET!" CHICKEN!
"I don't understaaand you!" Remus sung, passive-aggressively.
Sirius turned around mid step, curling his arms to make wings and flapping them, all while he ran backwards. Quite impressive really.
"Chicken, okay, well how do you kn- oh, turn around then. Wasn't talking, noooo, don't worry about it-"
Sirius stopped abruptly, making Remus crash into his back.
"You are a man child" Remus grumbled. With great bone structure.
Sirius ignored him though, and instead started walking towards one of the windows that faced into the narrow walkway. Buzzing and flashing behind the glass was a television. Long wires protruding from the top and brown casing around the screen. Your average 70's TV.
The network must have been down, as only a rainbow static played on the screen. Sirius was still mesmerised. His eye were wide and his mouth was open. Remus snorted.
"Christ, no need to wet yourself over a TV," He laughed, though soon smacked with realisation, "Oh my God, you've never seen a TV before, have you?"
"TV?" Sirius finally turned, his pupils were still slightly unfocused.
"Well it's what muggles watch shows on..."
Sirius' face was still unmoving.
"Ugh fuck, well you see me-" Remus took a few steps backwards,"-If you were recording me right now, I would show up on one of those. That's how people would watch me."
"You have hit your head, no?"
"No- oh can I explain this to you, like, tomorrow or something? Yes? Okay, let's carry on."
As much as Remus would have enjoyed getting into a deep discussion on muggle technology he hasn't been around for years, they--well, Sirius--still had a task to get done by next sunrise. So far they had nothing.
"Have you--oh this is such a weird sentence--have you still got the chicken scent?"
"Oui, be follow me." Sirius bounded off again, stopping to knock on a rickety old door.
"He- oh hello there!" An old woman croaked through the peephole.
Sirius looked over at Remus expectantly.
"Oh right-" Remus started, turning to face the door as he caught up, "We have to bring back a home cooked meal-"
"My goodness! Come right in, come on." She opened the door, gesturing they follow her up a narrow staircase.

James and Lily were walking through the tables at Aliyah's pizzaria. Lily felt that if you were going to find a home cooked meal anywhere, it would be at a restaurant. James on the other hand, was about to knock his glasses off in excitement, because he and Lily were in a restaurant together. Alone.
"James go sit down while I find someone," Lily commanded, pointing to the booth in the far corner. James obliged and plonked himself down on the red leather, drumming a beat out on the checked table. His eyes began to wander and landed on something by the condiments stand.
