VerseGalaxies
in the midst of hours, no more waiting
For the "hurry, hurry come and find me",
I'll be shifting planets as you come. (Ooh, ooh.)
Fragility
is the meekest part of me,
New beginnings
of a brightened morning raining down on me,
But I'd believe it's worth it as it's frightening (ooh, ooh).
Pre-chorus
Down come thunder skies, no lightning.
Forward, planets align, orbiting.
All the stars reveal the rainfall.
Chorus
My skies are greyer than your darkest of days,
I find umbrellas raining all over me,
Umbrellas raining all over me.
Ooh, ooh.
Sunlight is disappearing over the horizon,
I'm tripping over puddles and steep winds,
Tripping over puddles in steep wind.
(Ooh, ooh.)
Verse
Crowdedness,
eyes all over walls and I'm surrounded,
I stumble, trip, and fall, haven't grown out of it
For years and 3 more months and I'll be grown (grown, grown).
Stratosphere,
gravity of raindrops on my reflections
Underneath me, puddles to give compliments
Of all of the loudest of laughs
At me.
But I guess,
Guess it got the best of me,
Importance is shattered on my tongue gripping my throat (throat),
Picking up the pieces, can you hear it?
But maybe this is something that you don't.
Maybe this is something that you
Don't speak of,
To me it's false...
Pre-chorus
Down come thunder skies, no lightning
for the hands of time to strike me,
The lightning bolts from the great fall.
Bridge
My skies are greyer than yours
Don't try to save me no more (x2)
Chorus
My skies are greyer than your darkest of days,
I find umbrellas raining all over me,
Umbrellas raining all over me.
Ooh, ooh.
Sunlight is disappearing over the horizon,
I'm tripping over puddles and steep winds,
Tripping over puddles in steep wind.
(Ooh, ooh.)

PoetryTrigger Warning I wrote this dark/dreamy™ poem about my social anxiety and the bitterness of the great fall of my self-esteem, which is current today. I felt horrible and decided to write about it, so this came out, please enjoy. ☔🌂
