I carefully pulled the diary out of my bookcase within my storage chest. Then placed it in my pocket. I was wearing dark gray pants, a black shirt and black cloak. My hair fell almost half way down my back, but I carefully tied it in a low pony tail. I placed the usual cover up over my scar. Then casually walked down to Snape's office after eating an early breakfast. It was about 7:30 on a Saturday morning. It had been decided this Wednesday that Snape and I would gather everything we needed. Including Voldemort's original soul. Seeing as I was the only one Tom trusted with his soul, I needed to come, and hold onto his diary, for the excursion.
I knocked on his office door. After hearing him say "come in" I confidently walked in. I held my head high and walked up to the desk.
He glanced up at me. "You ready to go?" I nodded. He sighed. "Alright, just a moment." He finished grading the paper he was on, then shuffled them around. I watched as he appeared to be procrastinating. Clearly, he wasn't looking forward to this at all. But I was, and I wasn't going to let his hesitation dampen my excitement. I felt like, for the first time in my life, someone understood me. I bounced on my toes as I waited for him. Silently expelling me excess energy. Snape snapped at me. "Why are you so excited?" Yep, he's grumpy.  But I smiled. "I can't wait to actually meet him next weekend. There's just something about him. I feel like I've found someone who actually understands me. Like a kindred spirit. I can't explain it. I don't even know what his life was like, but It's just there. He gets me. I know he does." I gave a big grin.
Snape sighed. "It's probably just that you share a soul. You're essentially soul mates. Or the closest thing to one. You'll always be drawn to one another. Even the fact that you have brother wands proves it." I tilted my head in thought. You know he's probably right. I nodded in understanding. "Maybe. But it seems more than that. Maybe not" I shrugged. Snape eventually shoved everything into a draw of his desk. "Well, there's also the fact your both sociopaths." I laughed. I knew he meant it, but it still struck me funny. "that was probably true too."
My face turned serious and I straightened up as I followed Snape out of the school. We stopped first at the apothecary. We picked up a number ingredients and also grabbed a giant calderon. All which I paid for. It wasn't cheep. He shrunk them down and slipped them into his pocket. Then he lay his hand on my shoulder and apparated to Little Hangleton. I looked around as he lead me to a small town cemetery. We walked up and down all the rows looking at the names. Then he stopped and pointed his wand to a plot. "Accio Tom Riddle" the ground creaked and shook, then out popped a bunch of bones. He took the calderon out of his pocket unshrank it, and accioed all the bones into the bowl. He scorgified them then shrank them all back down. He put a shield over the bowl and placed it back in his pocket. Even shrunk I noticed the bowl barely fit in his pocket.
Then He put his hand back on my shoulder. I was shocked to see we were at a big dark building. I looked at Snape confused. "Where are we?" He looked down at me. "Azkaban"
"Oh. Why is he here? He didn't even do anything."
"Well, maybe not, but having the Dark Lord on the back of your head makes people a little nervous, and it was the easiest way to imprison the dark lord. They would have given him the kiss and tried to suck up the Dark Lords soul but he made a deal with the dementors during the last war, and they worried they might not take his soul just Quarrell's, and thus giving him a new body". I just nodded silently. Not bothering to ask my questions. Like what are dementors.
I looked at Snape excited. "Can I try to change the guards memories, to get access?"
He sighed "yes. If that doesn't work, I have a few ideas."
I started bouncing on my toes again, smiling. "Yay" I cheered. I was shaking with excess energy and excitement.
Once we boated across the mote, I subtly pointed my wand at the guy as he walked over.
I decided to use a new memory using Dumbledore.
Last week:
Dumbledore walked up to the guy after he finished work, they exchanged pleasantries, the Dumbledore spoke, "I need Severus Snape to interview Mr. Quarrell. We have some unanswered questions about the Sorcerer's Stone. I'm sure you understand."
He guy began running through thoughts and questions in his head. "Well, it's going to have to wait a couple weeks. How does February 24th work?"
Dumbledore smiled with that wretched twinkling eye. "That's perfect. You're making a big difference for our cause, thank you."
The guy was so proud to be helping such a noble and powerful man.
