We did end up having to ask Mousy for a tour. I was amazed by the place. There was a number of huge bath chambers, so many bedrooms. And a few more sitting rooms and the basement had a huge torture chamber and three different rooms to lock up criminals, or your enemy. I found it incredibly fascinating. But Draco turned to me with a stern look. "You are not bringing work home. This place is to be a relaxing, peaceful place. I won't have you ruining that by torturing people in the basement. I sighed and nodded. Fair enough this was his home to and he would never be comfortable at home, knowing I was doing the worst kinds of things inside of it. "You're right. Sorry. I won't bring guests to our basement." He relaxed a little. I kissed his jaw and we continued to look around. There was a huge safe room under the east wing. It didn't have windows, but it was every bit as beautiful as the rest of the house. There were a few smaller bedrooms off to the side. A smaller dining room, even a small library. A couple restrooms. It was basically a small house in and of itself. But the enterance was hidden and the wards where even stronger here, making my core hum with its strength. Somehow it was comfortable, and charming.
There were also a few secret passages that lead us to this room. The safe room seemed to have four different enterances. That would be good to know in the future. If nothing else, to keep my precious Draco safe. I would never survive if something happened to him. Well, my heart and mind wouldn't, even if my body did. He had become my everything is such a short time. Sometimes it scared me. We were too young to be planning for forever. But somehow I couldn't bring myself to care. His love soothed my soul and made me happy. Maybe for the first time in my life, I felt truly content.

I was amazed to find another library. It wasn't quite as vast as the first. The first had been humongous. But this was still large. There was again two stories, with a balcony to access the second floor. The ceiling was slightly arched and had a mural painted on it. Draco found a large section on healing. It covered everything from how to heal poisonous non-magical snake bites to healing the darkest of curses. He smiled as he thumbed through book after book. I had a small smile as I watched him. He happiness gave me joy. An entire wall was filled with any healing spell you could imagine. Even curing the plague was in there. Telling me how old most of these books probably were. I would guess around the 1600s, during the Great Plague of London.
But there was also mind healing, healing muggle illnesses, and muggle poisons, as well as every Magical injury, illness, and any magical beast you could think of, some now extinct. If Draco learned every one of these books, he would no doubt be the most renowned healer of our day. And with the way he was looking at these books, I had no doubt he would be.
I walked up to him and curled into his side as he flipped through one of the books. I smiled up at him. "I love the idea of you learning all of this. You will be the most impressive healer of our day, possibly of all time with all this knowledge. But I must also insist that you spend a couple hours learning more defense spells and dueling with me. I need to know that you are able to defend yourself from any enemy and adversary I may have. I have no doubt I will grow to have enemies. And if I ever lost you, I would never recover." He smiled warmly at me and kissed my forehead. "That seems like a fair trade. I would never want to lose you either." I giggled quietly. He was so sweet to me. Always making me feel so loved.
As we were finishing up our tour we came to a large defense room. There was everything you could need for improving your dueling. Including multiple moving targets, that shot spells.
As well as books on hand to hand combat and books on fighting with swords and other weaponry. I would probably never learn sword fighting, but the knowledge on knife usage, throwing stars and the bow and arrow would all be incredibly helpful. I could take someone out without even throwing a spell. Though I didn't know when I might need that information, it never hurt to be prepared for everything. In case of a circumstance where it might be needed.
I knew that while Draco studied to be a healer, I would be spending much of my time in here training. Well, when I wasn't studying the expanse of the library for combat spells and advanced magic.
Maybe I would split my time in half. Half studying, half training.
That evening we decided to tour the back gardens and have our dinner outside. The air was cooling and the breeze felt delightful. The garden had all sorts of herbs and vegetables as well as magical plants great for healing creams and ointments. Many long thought extinct. It seemed that this was the one area that the elves had continued to upkeep. Since I doubt many would have lived with total neglect.
I held Draco's hand as we enjoyed the few in front of us. The mountains in the distance. The gardens in front of use and the fresh air surrounding us.
He pulled me into his lap and held me close. I lay my head in his shoulder and just breathed him in. "I think you made the right chose is picking this as our home. It has everything we both need to pursue our passions and become great. And the view is spectacular. It might not be as posh as the other house, but it has everything we could ever dream of needing or wanting." I smiled, knowing he was coming around to this place. And even going so far as calling it home.
"Ya, I feel like this is where we were meant to be." I said with a sigh of contentment.
"And I think this will be a lovely place to raise our children." He said happily. I looked at him confused. Two wizards couldn't have kids. This I knew.
"How will we have children? I am not laying with a woman and neither are you. You are mine!"
He smiled at my possessiveness. "Why do you think Wizards care so little about same sex relationships when we care so much about carrying on our name and producing heirs?" I looked at him confused.
"A long time one ago, we used to have magic that allowed men to carry children. But that knowledge was lost a few hundred years ago. But, I have medical books dating back centuries. I am curtain I will find one about how wizards used to get pregnant. And you are a Lord of two ancient and noble houses. And I am heir of another ancient noble house. We will be required to pass down our fortune to three children. It's the Wizarding way. If I wasn't able to find how males get pregnant, then we would be expected to find a surrogate mother in order to have kids to pass our fortune to. But I am almost curtain I have books on it in that library. I will look more in the future. We don't need to have babies right away it can wait a few years." I nodded. "okay" I said quietly. "Will I be the one carrying them?" He smiled and nodded. "Yes, baby boy, you are the bottom. But you are strong enough, I know you will do great. Carrying children as a man is hard, your body isn't meant to do such an unnatural thing. And if you were a weaker man I would worry. But I have no doubt you can do this easily. Especially after we both use that stone and become immortal." I nodded. Agreeing. Even though the thought of children scared me. "What if I'm a terrible father? I have no idea how to love anyone but you." He laughed. "You'll love them, because they are a piece of me. You'll see, it will no doubt come easy to you." I nodded.
"But aren't we cousins?" He smiled. "Yes, but we are related three generations back. And genetics actually favors relationship that are three to five generations removed. They have an easier time getting pregnant and produce stronger children. Even your grandparents were three generations removed. Marrying your brother, or first cousin isn't wise, that's how you get deformity and malformations. But there is enough genetic diversity between us, our children will be okay. Especially since your mother was muggleborn. My father won't be thrilled with me having children with a first generation pure blood, but the fact that you're so powerful may make him less resistant."
I looked at him shocked, "I'm a pure blood? I thought I was a half blood?!" He shook his head. "No, a halfblood has a magical parent and a muggle parent. You have two magical parents. Therefore you are a pure blood. But since your mother was muggleborn you would be considered first generation, even though your father's family has been wizards for centuries. In a few generations people will completely forget about your mother's blood and just look at their deep family heritage. I would bet that both of our families have multiple first generations Throughout it. Infact a century ago, it was actually encouraged that we marry muggleborns. That way we diversified our gene pool. It's just never wise to marry and produce with Muggles. That's how we end up with squibs. There nonmagical genes slip out from time to time."
I found this fascinating. "But what about muggleborns, don't they have muggle genes as well?" He shook his head. "No, Hectate brings muggleborns into our world for a reason. Many believe to keep our genetics diversified, others think she finds something worthy of her blessing. Maybe both. But when muggleborns are produced, they are fully magical. Not an ounce of muggle genetics remain. There was a huge study on it almost a century ago."

"Wow." I whispered in awe.

"So muggleborns aren't just children of Squibs?" He shook his head. "No, Squibs are just muggles born to a Witch. They have no Magical genetics at all. Though, they are slightly more magically sensitive because of being surrounded by magic while forming in the womb. So, they might notice something meant to remain hidden from muggles. But they won't produce any muggleborns down the road."
"And both of us come from a long line of pure bloods, so we would never produce a Squib?" He shook his head.
"No probably not. There might be a couple women who had half-bloods in their line. But that would have been many generations back. Both the Black and Malfoy family have remained completely pure blood on both sides for generations. And the Black and Malfoy's paternal side has always remained pure. So it would be incredibly unlikely for us to produce a Squib."
I nodded in understanding.
"You have such a wealth of knowledge. I wish I had been raised with the same magical upbringing you were. It's all kind of amazing."
He smiled and drew me closer. I melted into his arms.
