Chapter 2 middle school
Logan POV

The two days passed and we now have middle school. Could it get any worse.
I had all my supplies and walked in my first class my friends weren't in my class. Of course they aren't. I sat down in an empty seat and looked around everyone had someone to sit with.
Our teacher walked in he was big, short, and bald. "Hello class I'm Mr. Howard, I'm your math teacher-"
This is where I zone out.
"Okay who are you?" He asked.
I quickly got out of my daze and looked around. "Sorry what was the question?"
Everyone started to laugh.
Mr. Howard looked at me with a smile, "What's your name?"
"Logan."
"Okay now we are somewhere," he laughed.

I made it to lunch after three other periods. I got in the lunch line with money ready. A big guy with a beanie and blond hair walked up to me.
"Hey who are you?" he asked.
"What's it to you?" I snapped back
"Relax, I'm just asking? We both have beanies on so we are twinning huh?" He smirked.
I looked away.
"Hey look at me when I'm looking at you," his friends came to his side and had fists ready.
I felt worried because it's five to one.
"Go!" The big guy screamed.
Two of the guys grabbed my arms the other three got ready to hit me. One kicked me in the side and the other hit my jaw.
"Not so pretty now, new kid?" One laughed.
The big guy almost hit me but some girl yelled stop. She walked closer. She had brown hair olive skin, she had beautiful brown eyes and was wearing an IU sweatshirt. She looked beautiful.
"Cole clam down he's not a new kid he's a 6th grader too," she smiled.
"He looks 8th grade and I've never seen him, he's new," he snapped.
I decided to speak up, "No I'm in 6th grade too."
Cole let go of me and he walked away with his boys.
"Hey thanks," I said to the pretty girl.
"No problem," she smiled, "What's your name?"
"Oh.. I'm Logan."
I'm not good with people so I walked away. She looked a little disappointed that I walked away but she caught up with her friends.
I spotted my friends Chris and Luke at a table. "Hey guys!" I ran up to them.
"Hey Logan, dude school sucks without you." Luke laughed.
"Yeah I miss you guys", I replied
