"You mean to tell me that your exo friend managed to scare THE Hangman?" Spider asks.
"We saw it with our own eyes." Suzuka replies.
"Well... That's... Unsettling..." Spider mumbles as Petra slowly walks in. "Well, hello Petra. What brings you here?"
"I still haven't been able to find Uldren." Petra says. "But I do have a lead on where Fikrul and his right hand might be."
"Well, we're still trying to keep an eye on Taiki just so he doesn't destroy the entire shore." Suzuka replies. Suddenly multiple explosions can be heard, and maniacal laughter can be heard. "What the?! What the hell was that?!"
"That didn't sound good." Spider mumbles.
"Hm..." Spe-7 mumbles. "Twinkle, give me arc energy."
"Sure thing." Twinkle says as Spe feels arc energy coursing through her and the two head outside.
"YAHEHEHEHEHEHE!!!" A manical laugh bellows out and an explosive lands right next to Suzuka's feet.
"Whoa! Look out!" Suzuka shouts as she leaps out of the way of the explosive before it detonates, and the source of the bombs emerges. He has one mechanical lower arm and a mechanical leg, and he looks like he's gone off the deep end.
"It's Kaniks!" Spe-7 shouts.
"Oooh! New playmates! You look fun!" Kaniks laughs as he starts throwing more bombs at them.
"Run!" Spe yells as she and Suzuka try to outrun the mad bomber, but he quickly performs a smoke dash and materializes right in front of them. "WHOA!"
"YAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Kaniks screams out, but suddenly a grenade comes out of nowhere and smacks the mad bomber in the back of the head before it explodes, staggering him forward. "What the?!"
"There you are!" Taiki yells.
"Ooh! You mad!" Kaniks laughs. "I hope you liked my gift!"
"Gift?! You sick fuck, you almost blew up the entire shore!" Taiki shouts.
"HEE-HEE-HEE!" Kaniks shouts, sticking his tongue out at Taiki. "I didn't think you'd find me! YEHEHEHEHE! You smarter than stupid cabal!"
"Get back here!" Taiki shouts as he throws a fusion grenade and it sticks to the mad bomber's face. It detonates, creating a gigantic cloud of smoke and ashes, but when the smoke clears Kaniks' face is simply left charred by the explosion.
"Yay! Party poppers!" Kaniks shouts as he smoke dashes away.
"Oh no you don't!" Taiki shouts as he hops onto his sparrow and tries to chase down the smoke trail that would be Kaniks.
"I don't think he notices us, let's tail them." Suzuka says as she and Spe hop onto their sparrows and try to keep a distance as they attempt to follow. That's when a swarm of scorn ravagers emerges, forcing Spe and Suzuka to deal with them.
"I got this!" Spe-7 shouts as she hops off her sparrow and leaps high into the air, unleashing all of her arc energy at once and coming crashing down. The shockwave proceeds to send the ravagers flying, and she goes after the ones still standing, delivering shockingly powerful kicks that zap the scorn silly before her energy dissipates. "They can't be too far from here..." And with that she and Suzuka speed off on their sparrows to try and pursue Taiki. Eventually they find themselves in a gulch of some sorts and there's a large hole that Kaniks retreats inside.
"Get back you crazy son of a bitch!" Taiki shouts, but before he can head inside a gigantic mine suddenly flies up, and it makes an eerie ticking noise. "Shit!" But before he can go to defuse it, Spe and Suzuka rush into do the job for him. "Wait... Who are you? Are you Spider's associates?" They remain silent as they continue their work. "Thanks anyway!" Taiki says as he ducks into the hole to face off with Kaniks. The two equine guardians follow close behind and they notice that the entire place is ladden with explosives from one wall to another.
"Welcome to my room! You want to meet friend Cayde! He was no fun!" Kaniks laughs, and Taiki balls his free hand into a fist. "Oh no I don't mean he wasn't fun! He was! WHEN HE WAS BEGGING! He was like "Mercy please Prince Uldren! Please!" SAD! YEHEHEHEHEHE!!!" Taiki's hand then begins to set alight with fire. "What's wrong? MAD?! Cayde MURDER Eliksni! You no different! You think you HERO?! Joke at you!"
"YOU'RE GONNA EAT THOSE WORDS!" Taiki screams as he unleashes all of his solar energy and brings out his titanic hammer once more and scorn emerge to try and stop him from absolutely murdering Kaniks. Unfortunately for them Taiki is too blind with rage to even bother with them as he immediately goes after the mad bomber, wailing away at him with his hammer, staggering him back with each blow. "I'M GONNA BEAT YOU SO BLOODY THAT NOT EVEN YOUR FUCKING PRINCE WILL RECOGNIZE YOUR REMAINS! DIE!!!!" He screams even more as he lands one final blow, wildly swinging his hammer and slamming it into Kaniks' face. The sheer impact decapitates the bad bomber, sending his head flying and bouncing off the walls, and Taiki's solar energy dissipates, leaving behind a group of extremely scared scorn. "All right... WHO'S NEXT?!" He shouts as he brings out his grenade launcher, and the scorn that are still alive quickly make a run for it, rudely pushing Suzuka and Spe-7 aside to try and make it out in one piece. "That's what I figured." And then Taiki hears ticking noises. "What the?! He's rigged the whole place to blow!" He yells as he bolts out, with Spe-7 and Suzuka not too far behind, and the explosions bury up the entrance to the hole. Before Taiki can even think about the two people that saved him trouble, they vanish off, leaving him in wonder.
