Um, yeah. This is happening. Yep. I wrote this sometime last year, I'm sorry if it's bad! ~~~ Means we're switching between present time and the past. I'm posting something so that way you guys don't get bored and leave me.

"Behind each scratch is a story. Whether it's a mirror, a wall, or a person, there is always a secret." -hopestar524

A small, dirty-blonde girl ran down the hallways like the rebel she was.

"Melissa! You know better than to go into Daddy's office." She opened the door and was fascinated by what she saw. Then she was grabbed around the waist and lifted up off the ground.

"But Dad! I'm just curious!" Melissa shouted at her father. Her blue-green eyes pleaded with her father.

"Geez. You know, that curiosity you got from me. But it's bad. You need to get past it. No Daddy's office."

"But Dad!" She dragged out his name.

"No!"

"You're no fun." Melissa humphed.

"He is, isn't he?"

"Daddy! Dad won't let me in your office!" Melissa whined.

"You encouraged her. It's your job now babe."

"You know what, why don't I show you around my office?" He asked.

"You're the best!" Melissa jumped into her dad's arms.

"Why am I always the bad guy Seto?"

"Because you are babe. Love you." He said as he gave him a kiss.

"Ew! Too much!" Melissa exclaimed as she covered her eyes. Her fathers chuckled as Brice followed the two into Seto's office. Seto pulled down his sleeves once he sat her on his chair. "What do you do in here Daddy?" The naïve girl asked.

"Magic sweetie."

"The kids at school say magic isn't real." The young girl replied, sadly.

"That's because they don't have parents that can do this." Seto said as he made a little purple cloud puppy jump around her head. She giggles as it licks her face. It jumped into her lap and she pet it. Then she saw the mirror that showed her reflection. Then, it came to life. The puppy disappeared as she focused on the mirror. The girl on the other side looked like she could be her twin. She moved like she did, just at a different pace. Melissa rubbed her eyes but the girl was still there. Then, Melissa touched the mirror. "Don't touch Melissa." Her father scolded as her moving reflection was replaced by her real reflection. "It's dangerous to touch it. I learned that the hard way."

"Where's that scratch from Daddy?" Melissa said as she traced the scratch from a distance.

"When I got stuck in the mirror." He sighed.

"Would you mind telling me?" Seto smiled at her curiosity.

"Of course not. I was about 14..."

Seto was about to start high school. He was a nervous wreck. His father had made it very clear he had to do perfect.

"Calm down Seto." Ty, his best friend, asked.

~~~
"Uncle Ty?"
"Yeah. Now let your daddy tell the story." Brice told her. She pretended to zip her lips and lock them. Then gave the key to him. Seto laughed and continued.
~~~

"Calm down Seto. You always do fine." Ty told him as they walked to school. They both decided to walk the first day.
