Idea: An AU where you can communicate with your soulmate(s) through your thoughts. As you grow older, you learn to better control what they can and cannot hear etc.

The end of Part 1: "Yeah, sounds good. I'm psyched, I didn't expect you to be a ginger." Josh added, joy in his voice.

"Now this just isn't fair. Ethan gets to meet you boys and I don't." Harry said, a sad tone to his voice.
"I'm sure we'll all meet soon, Harry. I don't know any of them either." Vik assured him.
"Yeah but still. I wanna meet them all now." Harry whined out, sounded exasperated.
"Oh stop whining. You'll meet us soon enough." Simon groaned. "Now please shut up so I can listen. History is not my best subject."
"That's weird." Vik mumbled before going quiet.
"Oh great. What now?" Simon sighed, you could hear the anger rolling off him.
"Si, relax. How about you head out to the restrooms, I'll meet you there? You're way too pissed right now." JJ tried to reason, his voice much calmer than it would normally be.
"Yeah yeah yeah. Whatever JJ." Simon cut off at the end, JJ's sigh being heard.
"He's so hot but he's got such a temper." JJ complained.
"I agree." Vik spoke quietly, although no one seemed to notice.
"It sure sounds like it." Josh spoke up, finally chiming back in to the conversation.
"I can still hear you guys. I swear, if I could hit a magic mute forever button-" Simon began, anger clear in his tone.
"Si, you're just being pissy. I'm leaving right now, alright? I'm coming." JJ spoke, voice once again soothing.
"Alright alright. I'm waiting." Simon's voice sounded exhausted.
"Relax a little. I can't even see you and I can tell you're all tensed up." JJ's words were followed by a shallow chuckle.
"Fine." Simon spat.
"Hey, hate to cut in, but is Simon blond?" Vik spoke up, an edge to his voice that couldn't easily be deciphered.
"Yeah I'm blond. Why?" Simon's voice had anger slicing through it, and he cut out right after his words were spoken.
"I think I'm in the same class as you two." Vik's words were careful and hushed, almost as if he was trying to hide from Simon.
"Seriously?" JJ asked, a tone of happiness in his voice.
"Are you kidding me?" Harry's voice filled their consciousness with annoyance and envy.
"That's great! Maybe we can all meet even sooner!" Tobi spoke, glee clear in his words.
"Yeah, everyone but me." Harry's voice pouted through their minds.
"Aw, Harry. You'll meet us soon. I promise." Ethan spoke up this time.
"You better take good notes Vik or I swear I'm gonna flip." Simon's first sentence since the realization made JJ's laughter fill their ears.
"Of course Simon. I'll even help tutor you if you'd like." Vik offered, his voice much calmer now.
"I suppose that will make up for your interruption." Simon grumbled, although you could hear his voice wasn't as angry.
"Yo Vik, when the bell rings wait outside the room for us, alright? I'm looking forward to seeing you." JJ spoke up, earning a hum from Vik. "I'll take that as a yes."
"I still can't believe I'm left out of this. Go figure I would be. I'm always the last one for everything." Harry whined, and you could almost hear everyone roll their eyes.
"I'm telling you Harry, you'll meet us soon." Tobi spoke, trying to be nice to the poor boy who felt left out.
"Soon as in when? A week? A month? A couple years?" Harry complained, and a noise of pain could be heard. "And imagine that, some idiot in the hallway just ran into me. Go figure, as if everything wasn't..." Harry trailed off, complaining.
"Wow Harry, now I'm just some idiot?" Josh spoke, voice softer than usual, as if trying to contain his emotions.
"Wait, Josh?" Harry cut out after that.
"Wait, did you two meet?" Ethan asked.
"Bring him to the tree Josh! Me and Ethan are already there." Tobi called out.
"Ethan and I, but I will. Once we clean up all his books he dropped. Damn Harry, how many loose papers did you have?" Josh broke through, a joking tone in his voice.
"Too many, I know. I'm trying to get my life together." Harry replied, a huff to his voice.
"Vik, you are so pretty. Wow." Simon spoke up, his voice breathy.
"Agreed." JJ said soon after.
"I'm really not. Just very short and probably gonna get crushed is we stay in this hallway any longer." Vik argued.
"How short is he, anyway?" Ethan asked, curiosity in his voice.
"He's pretty short." Simon responded with a chuckle.
"No, you're just way too tall Simon. He's actually not all that short, but definitely adorably sized." JJ interjected, receiving a hum from Tobi.
"Thanks JJ. I've got an idea now." Tobi replied. "Alright, I'm gonna leave now because I think that is Josh walking over with Harry right now. Damn Harry." Tobi ended off with a wolf whistle before cutting out.
"Wait, where are you guys? Maybe we could all meet up?"
"There's an old cherry blossom tree in the back. It's got a bench on one side, we'll all be on the other." Josh described, emotion filling his thoughts.
"I know where that is, actually! But I don't think we have much more time until our next class starts. We'll all meet out there at lunch?" Vik added, his words hopeful.
"Sounds good to me." And other varying agreements sounded through their brains.
"Alrighty. See you all at lunch. Gosh, I'm so excited for this!" Harry cheered, and other happy chatter filled their networked thoughts.
