*TRIGGER WARNING FOR THIS CHAPTER*

It only took us one day to get to Canada from taking the backroads and old tunnels we set up in Dauntless. Once we reached the last tunnel that would lead straight into the old Dauntless base, I stopped. "Everything alright?" Four asked then Tris looked at me too. "Yeah, let's go." I said driving down the tunnel and straight into the old Dauntless base.

There they were. My old family. The people I trust with my life. Standing there smiling at me. "Yo! Guys, Ace is back!" One of the younger's yelled. He was a Dauntless born. I got off my bike and hugged him and the rest of them. "What brings you back?" Christena asked as I hugged her and my anger was back. "My mom. She was murdered." I said and the room fell silent.

"I need a place to stay until I get this figured out. Can I stay here? Would it be alright with you guys?" I asked and looked around at them. "Of course you can Ace. Whatever you need." Four said and I nodded. "I'm going out. Coming?" I asked Four and he nodded. We got back onto our bikes and rode out of the base.

We drove to the corners office and I got off my bike. Alright. I can do this. I walked in and up to the desk person. "Lydia Snow. I'm here to confirm." I said and she started typing away on her computer.  "Right back here." She said leading both me and Four to the back. The M.E looked at us both with sympathy. "Lift it back." I said pointing to the sheet that was over her. "Ma'am I don't think-" I cut him off and gave him a serious look. "Lift. It. Back." I said sternly and he nodded.

*SKIP THIS PART IF YOU WANT. VERY VAUGE DETAIL*

When he lifted it back, my blood boiled. She wasn't even recognizable anymore. The bastard had smashed her head and face with a blunt object. Her hands and feet were gone. I looked away and he put it back over her. "Thank you." I said and he nodded. "I will take you back to the front and give you what she had on her." The front desk lady said and I nodded.

When we got to the front, she handed me a small bag with some of my mom's stuff in it. Her wallet, purse, keys, and sunglasses. "Thank you." I said and she nodded. "I'm so sorry for your loss." She said and I walked out. I swear, someone else says that they're sorry I'll hit them. "Claire-" I cut Four off and looked at him dead in the eyes. "Don't say it." I said and he nodded. "Okay, what now then?" He asked and I looked down.

"I'm gonna find the son of a bitch who did this to her and rip their lungs out!" I yelled the last part and looked back at Four. My phone started to ring and I looked at it. UNKOWN ran across the screen and I answered it. "Claire Snow. What do you want?" I asked and there was a woman on the other end. "Hi, Ms. Snow. This is Jennifer Jareau with the Behavioral Analysis Unit. Uh, FBI. I was wondering if you could come down to the station in downtown Vancouver?" She asked and I sighed.

"I'll be there in ten." I said and hung up the phone. "Where we going?" Four asked and I looked at him. "FBI is involved now. Easier for me to find him then. I'm going to the station in Vancouver. I need you, Tris, and Christena to go to my mom's house and grab a few things. The picture on the mantle. It's of me, her, and my dad. There is a black shoe box under her bed. Grab it. That's it." I said and he nodded.

"On it." He said and I smiled at him. "Thank you Four." I said and kissed his cheek. I got on my bike and drove down to the Vancouver Police Station. I walked in and walked to the receptionist. "Uh, I'm supposed to see Jennifer Jareau." I said and a blonde woman walked up before the receptionist responded. "Claire Snow right?" She asked and I nodded. "Yeah." I said and she held out her hand. "I'm SSA Jennifer Jaraeu. You can call me JJ." She said and I shook her hand.

"So what can I do for you JJ?" I asked and she guided me into a room with two men in it. "Claire, this is Dr. Spencer Reid and SSA Aaron Hotchner. They are going to interview you." She said with a smile. "Okay, cool I guess." I said and walked farther into the room. The younger one, Dr. Reid spoke first. "Ms. Snow, First off we are so-" I cut him off there. "Don't say it. I'll hit you." I said and he closed his mouth. "And please. Claire." I said and they both nodded.

Dr. Reid whispered something to Hotchner and he nodded. "Secrets don't make friends doctor." I said and he looked to Hotchner who nodded at him. "I just said that you used to be Dauntless. So it may be hard to rule you out as a suspect." He said and I could've killed him right there. "Right. So what do you want?" I asked and Hotchner cleared his throat. "Look, all your questions, I'm going to answer with a no. Based on the probability, there is no one who would dare to try and kill my mother." I said and they looked at each other.

"To answer the question you've been dying to ask, I was in Nevada getting ready to perform at a concert. When I got the call, I was at a Supernatural convention. I have alibis. And I would never kill my mother." I said and they nodded. "Thank you for making our job easier I guess." Hotchner said and I nodded. "Anytime. I'll be going then." I said and walked out.

"Claire! Claire! Wait!" I heard the doctor yelling after me as I walked out of the station. "Claire!" He yelled again after he got outside. "Yeah?" I asked walking up to him. "Here's my card just in case you remember anything." He said handing me a card. "Are you trying to give me your number?" I asked knowing it would get a rise out of him. "Wh- what? N-no. I-I'm just doing my job." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

"I'm messing with you doc. Calm down, I'll call if anything comes to mind. Thank you." I said chuckling. "Have a great day doc." I said and got on my bike and drove off.
