"He...ro..?" I whispered in a quiet, shivering voice, my body unable to move from the shock of my mind could not acknowledge. I heard footsteps behind me get louder but I stood still looking at the broken building waiting for him to appear into my vision.
"It's finally over..." I heard a deep menacing voice behind me, knowing without looking that it was the deadly horrifying looking skeleton that spoke. After a brief moment of silence, I heard an erupt abundance of laughter
"What a hilarious turn of events! You should have seen the look on her face! All this running around and fighting was totally worth it to see that reaction!" Entity continued to laugh as I slowly turned my body around to stare into the three faces at the bottom of the steps that I wished to never see again. His laughter never ceased, he even curled up on the ground and covered his stomach in his crazy phase.
My mind was completely against the fact that the Hero was gone for good. Anger coursed through my veins and tears streamed down my face, I tightened my fists, I bit my upper lip to the point of it almost bleeding, my body shook through my very core, but I stopped when I saw Notch step forward at the bottom of the stairs.
"Now that's over..." He started and paused as he made his way up the stairs halfway towards me, my eyes were careful to stare at every movement he made, ready to fight back when I needed to, but widened in shock as he slowly extended his hand up towards me and a slow gesture. "You are free... And can join us to fix the chaos that he has created, with your power we would be more than willing to have you on our team." He softly smiled, yet there was something in his eyes that seemed sad.
Entity stopped his laughter as he stood next to his king behind Notch, all of them looking up towards me not saying a word to hear my response. Were they crazy? Do they think that I would join them after all of this?
"Hell no!" I said bluntly, My eyebrows furrowed downward as I gritted my teeth at the stupidity of these creatures. "You think after all you've done that I would just be on your side that easily? You must be stupid!" I yelled out, my voice echoing in the void, even some endermen turning their heads towards me in the distance.
"We never meant any harm" Notch lowered his hand and sighed, "We had to keep the act up so Hero wouldn't have any suspicions, but now that you have helped us so much, we want to lend you a hand in power, and maybe in the future become a ruler to one of these realms."
My mind was in the gutter, not only was it filled with the wraith and hatred to the point I wanted to end everyone here, I was depressed of the fact that everything that has happened was my fault. I shut my eyes and let the stream of tears roll down my face, took a big inhale... and let out the loudest blood-curdling scream I could attempt.
The ground began to shake once again, but this time it was more powerful, the three figures fell to the ground and covered their ears, the endermen all teleported in distress over and over again to find a safe place to stand, the endstone chipped away as it fell into the void, and my mind was completely blank. It felt like my body was on fire, my vision was blurry, I could feel my hairs float around me and my body slowly lifting off the ground, my throat dry from all the screaming, but there was something inside that just busted and would stop accumulating rage.
I darted forward with all my adrenaline, taking advantage of the enemies on the ground, I aimed for the closest one who happened to be Notch, and clenched his throat with my hand. There was no stopping me, my body was out of control and there was no turning back now.
"You killed him! You killed him" I screamed, my voice coming out more echoey than before. "I was held captive at the beginning, but as I continued my journey with him, I learned that he wasn't a monster everyone saw him as, he was kind, caring, and strong! He saved me over and over again and we opened up to each other, and I feel like my heart are going to stop every time I'm near him. He's not dead! He can't be dead...! I can't live without him!" I screamed even louder, the vibrations of my anger growing louder and louder and my hand clenched harder and harder. I could feel my breath hyperventilate and the tears continue to stroll down my face, but I suddenly stopped when I saw this agony look on his face and I clenched down on him like prey.
"I'm s-sorry.." He said to me, his hands going up to my arm in an attempt to escape, his voice barely audible through the vibrations of the earth "I'd-didn't want to kill him..He's my brother! But I didn't have a choice, they held me against my wi-" He was broken off when a figure approached from behind and slammed a punch into the side of my head, a dark aura surrounded his fists as his punch flew me into the stairs so hard it gouged into stone and made me spit up blood from the impact. I coughed and held my head in pain, feeling the blood ooze in my hand as I looked up to see Entity with an angry expression which was rare to see.
"You think you're stronger than us, huh?" The dreadlord and Notch stood up from the floor and watched as Entity slowly moved forward towards me, ready to throw another punch my way. "Your nothing without your little Hero, and even then you didn't stand a chance!" He threw his arm and shoulder back, ready to give me the finishing blow when suddenly I heard footsteps behind me and suddenly an arrow pierced through his shoulder. He let out a grunt of pain and jumped back in shock, standing next to his colleagues as he looked up above me in shock.
I winced as I moved forward to look behind my rescuer, but was disbelieving when I saw three figures behind me, and I gasped at the sight.
"Don't worry (Y/N)! We are here to rescue you!" Jordan exclaimed, holding the bow in his hand as he stood next to Lukas, who held potions in his hand while his brother approached from behind, holding an unconscious figure on his back who I could immediately recognize.I threw myself upwards, not caring about the enemies behind me, and ran myself towards him and grabbed the person's face on his back to make sure I wasn't seeing things.
"Hero!" I smiled wider than I ever have, tears of happiness going down my face. He slowly bent down and gently put him on the floor and faced back toward the enemies while I grabbed Hero my arms and held his head towards my chest gripping onto his shirt as tight as I could.
"How did you guys get here...?" I turned my head towards them while they kept their eyes on the enemy in fighting stances, ready to charge at any movement while they stood there in disbelief.
"It's a long story, but the short version is, we wandered a long way until we bumped into a portal and found ourselves in a stronghold, we heard you scream and by the time we got to the room everything was gone and there were dead monsters everywhere, and we jumped in. We planned on getting the enemy from behind but while we were sneaking around the whole castle was falling into pieces, we ran and came across you guys when Herobrine pushed you forwards, we were there just in time to also push him to the side where the ceiling collided together and made a safe arch for us to fall into without being crushed" He held his potions forward, never beating an eye to even look at me.
"Thank goodness.." I held Hero's head, feeling his hair against my fingers, and wiped the blood that was rushing down his head. It looked like he had a couple of injuries during the impact, but it didn't matter because he was now alive in my arms. "I'm eternally grateful for you guys, I didn't think you'd come back after we left you."
"No it was actually better this way," Lukas continued, "We were able to come across some materials to make potions, and found some equipment in chests and even weapons. We don't hold a grudge for what you did, and we are grateful for you guys saving us in the past."
I put Hero's head safely on the ground and stood up and turned around to face our enemies. I signed, standing next to my friends felt much safer, and I knew we would have a better chance to fight off them with more people.
"I'm ready..." I signed, pointing my fists forward, hoping to concentrate my power into a single point so I could control it safely, and stepped forward, "for our last battle!"
