"thank you for meeting with me, today."

i opened the door and let my best friend in.

"no problem by house was becoming stuffy anyway. i needed a break." she quickly whipped her hair behind her head and sat down in my couch. lonnie looked luxurious compared to my t-shirt and yoga pants. her hair was laid, a large gucci handbag and a belt to match. oh and i can't forget the red bottom shows that briefly flashed as she crossed her legs.

"oh i'd believe it."

lonnie and her fiancé tyrell were planning their wedding all by themselves. they wanted to be apart of all the decision making and it was courageous step to make. however tyrell and lonnie have over bearing mothers who want to incorporate their opinions into the wedding as well. i believe they are currently staying at their home.

"i love my future mother in law but if she tries to say anything about my dress i'm going to lose it."

i laughed watching lonnie talk with her all white acrylic nails. the 'click' sound made her words for funnier to me.

"what's wrong with the dress then?"

"she says it's not 'modest' enough for jesus. like mam i have big breasts i am going to flaunt the curves i have. how do you think i got your son?"

"lonnie you are something else."

"but we aren't here to talk about me and my wonderful future in laws. you sounded like you were in a panic."

right, the purpose of her coming over.

"so jimin's and i three year anniversary is coming up really soon. and i have no clue what to get him."

"we'll have you ask him what he wanted?"

"i've tried but he says 'oh don't worry about it baby'".

"so you want to spend your money." she said with a questionable look.

"it's not about spending money. it's just i want to get him something to represent how happy i've been with him for the last three years."

"i'm the wrong one to ask, cause i've never gotten tyrell an anniversary gift."

i gasped out loud. is lonnie serious? never got her fiancé an anniversary gift. she had to be lying to me.

"yeah it's true. i don't really do much for those days. maybe go out to dinner but besides that it's a regular day for us."

"i don't know how you are getting married next year, and have never given an anniversary present."

"me being apart of his life is a good enough present."

"you are so vain." i shook my head. ever since lonnie and i were roommates in college i knew she was an interesting person. but this just takes the cake for me.

"to each their own." without even a second thought she shrugged her shoulders.

"but in the hypothetical situation that i was giving a gift i would give him the best show of a life time."

almost instantly a lightbulb went off in my head. i could pay for concert tickets to jimins favorite artist. he would love it!

"jimin would love going to an usher concert. that would be perfect."

"no no sweetie. yn, you would be the show."

my eyebrows furrowed. "me?"

"yes, give him a lap dance or something. something that he would never forget."
