Chapter 10; PROMISE

"Ysa" I shooked my head as I raised a brow at him

"Wag mo nga ako'ng asarin Langit!" Asar na turan ko dahil kaninang kanina niya pa ako inaasar dahil nabasa niya ang diary ko kaninang umaga na nahanap niya sa loob ng drawer ko ng nakiusap akong kumuha siya ng isang tuwalya roon.

Agad naman na natawa siya sa pang aasar ko sa kaniya "bakit? Ang drama drama mo naman talaga" he laughed and I frowned

"Tigilan mo na nga yan! Akin na!" Agaw ko sa hawak hawak niyang diary ko ngunit agad anamn siyang tumayo at tumakbo patungo sa kabilang parte ng sala sabay belat sa akin

Natawa naman ako sa pagka asal bata niya ngunit agad ko naman siyang hinabol habang inaagaw ang diary ko

"Ano ba hoy akin na!" Ani ko habang natawa ngunit agad siyang pumasok sa kwarto ko at sinarado ang pinto agad ko namang kinatok ito

"Hoy umalis ka diyan! Envation of privacy yaan! At tigilan mo na yaang diary ko, hoy langit-" pero naputol ang sasabihin ko ng tinawag niya ako

"Ysa"

"Hmm?"

"When I die. Will you still be the same you are now?" He asked at agad naman akong natigilan

"What are you talking about-"

"Will you still smile and laugh like that?" Agad namang nawala ang ngiti ko

"That's not funny anymore Skyler what are you talking about?!" I yelled angry

Ano nanaman bang ka walang katuturang ang pinagsasasabi nitong ugok na ito ngayon

"I am just... Hey can you just answer it or I will not come out of here." He said then laughed but I didn't. Something suddenly bothered me about what he was saying

"Well kung mamatay ka man kukuryentehin kita para bumangon ka ulit dahil nangako ka pang papatawanin mo pa ako hanang sa tumanda tayo!" I said threatening him

But we just end up laughing , a single door blocking us apart...

"GUMISING KA SKYLER!!!" Sigaw ko habang nasa loob kami ng ambulansiya

Walang patud ang pag tulo ng mga kuha ko habanag pinipilit na gumising siya agad ko hinawakan ko ang kamay niya and i swear i felt him gripping my hand kahit na mahina tyen a single tear fell from his eyes and a faint smile appeared in his lips

"S-skyler hold on please. Hold on? Malapit na tayo" I whispered in his ears and kisses his cheeks crying

"I love you.... I- I Love Y-You y-ysa" he then again whispered and my heart just broke

"Hold on please? I love you too but please please please hold on" i cried

"Promise m-me.. p-promise me Y-ysa" he said his voice quiet agad akong lumapit at hinigpitan ang kapit sa kamay niya

"Yes anything. Anything" I answered with my shaken voice

"Stay y-you. S-tay ha... Happy a-and f-full o-of....... L-life" he opened his eyes and looked at me. Then a memory flashed im my mind

When I die. Will you still be the same you are now?"

"What are you talking about-"

"Will you still smile and laugh like that?"

"That's not funny anymore Skyler what are you talking about?!"

"I'm just... Hey can you just answer it or I will not come out of here."

"Well kung mamatay ka man kukuryentehin kita para bumangon ka ulit dahil nangako ka pang papatawanin mo pa ako hanang sa tumanda tayo

I cried so hard while nodding my head even though I don't like where this is going I'll do everything to make him hold on

"Yes I will, I will. B-but promise me too that you will hold on?" I asked and he smile. A lonely smile as tears started escaping his eyes

"I will princess" he said in a whisper and looked in my eyes again

"B-but I-i t-think I-I will b-break it n-now" he said and closed his eyes i shook my head and keep repeating no but his grip loosen and his pulse stopping slowly untill its a straight line and a thin noise penetrated my ear

"No! No no no no no! Skyler!" I said nag kakagulo na dito sa loob ang nurses started reviving him but then hindi na ulit ito tumunog

"Fuck! No skyler this is not a very funny joke!" I screamed and cried sa hard at the same time but he just remained still i shaked him i punched him nagwawala na ako at pinipigilan na ako ng tatlong nurse na narito but didn't bother and just cried and cried

I can't. Hindi ko matangap. I can't accept the truth that HE'S GONE. I can't!
