"Uuuugggh..."
"So much for a fun day at the park..." Dolly groaned laying on top of her skateboard.
Near a fence with the sign labeled keep out while Dylan counted his one hundred and one dalmatian siblings.
Dolly's ears perked up hearing a bit of distress from his voice.
"Dorothy was just here a minute ago!?"
"I swear-"
Dylan tensed up seeing more guard dogs compared to the ones in an advertising agency. When he, Dolly, and Deepak tried to fill in for Triple D at a Woof commercial. Dolly got a laugh as she sat up.
"I'm sure Dorothy hasn't gone that far."
"While the humans are busy with Triple D,"
"We'll just ask around unless,"
"You're gonna be a chicken about it." Dolly said as Dylan scoffed.
"They're not that tough."
"And I doubt they have any experience with handling one hundred and one puppies." Dylan said as Dolly rolled her eyes.
"I'm just joking bro and besides, you seem pretty confident about it." Dolly said as she leads the rest of the puppies with a cool skate trick.
Dylan carefully shakes off the uneasy feeling as he enters the slightly crowded park. Filled with various tech equipment and people focused on other tasks, ranging from camera people to directors. He gulped at the large crowd but, a bit relieved that the youngest pup's scent was nearby.
1 hour later...
Dylan's paw felt petals as he spots the area with Triple D's usual routine, in another commercial for chewing gum. Destiny wearing the heart collar running ahead with a guy's glasses while Dallas in a diamond collar does a similar act but, with a woman's floppy hat. And Deja Vu having circles in her collar by the tree, pretending to sleep with the placement product a few inches away from her. As the two sisters sit near her, to watch the scene unfold with the commercial ending in a flawless manner.
However, after a few seconds, Deja Vu heard the sound of Dorothy's voice. With the spotless puppy giggling and walking on top of the long tree branch.
"I thought Dorothy was with Dolly and Dylan." Deja Vu said as the trio looked up.
Gasping, along with Dylan who desperately tried to think of a plan without attracting any attention. Triple D felt the tree prop slightly swaying as they saw a large dog holding a plushie in their mouth. Prompting Dorothy to turn around with her attention at the stuffed toy.
(Y/N) tosses the plushie in the air as Dorothy jumps down, safely on the larger dog's back. Starting to play with the toy. The pink collared trio moved to the side just as the prop fell, causing the humans to look at the bent fake tree. And back at (Y/N) with the dog slightly cowering at the director's tired expression.
"Its not as worse when we got double booked."
"And having B team to cover for us." Dallas saying the first line and Destiny with the second as two of managers start to argue.
Giving Dylan the chance to slip by the commotion. But, his instinct of being scared towards larger dogs still appeared, nervously greeting the guard dog.
"Uh... Thanks for finding Dorothy..."
"Hopefully, she wasn't too much trouble..." Dylan said as (Y/N) lies down.
Carefully picking up Dorothy by her collar and placing her gently on the ground.
"You would be surprised how the other guard dogs act soft around puppies."
"So she ended up with the VIP treatment."
"Seeing her older sisters in action." (Y/N) said surprising Dylan at the larger dog's gentle nature.
"To be honest, (Y/N)'s cool in our books."
"While the other guard dogs,"
"Just stand there like statues with nothing to say." The trio said with (Y/N) amused by the girls' unison like speech.
"Dorothy seems to really like the plushie."
"She can take it home with her." (Y/N) said as Dylan tilted his head.
"You're okay with that-"
"(Y/N) has like,"
"A ton of plushies."
"Almost close to fifty." Triple D said in an annoyed tone.
"Well, I'm still asking politely since the toy used to belong to (Y/N)." Dylan said as (Y/N) chuckled.
"Its fine and if it helps,"
"I'll also tell the other guard dogs that you're here with Dorothy as well." (Y/N) said hearing their name called out by their owner as they bow for a few seconds before leaving.
"Dylan, are you actually blushing?"
"Only knowing (Y/N) for a day."
"And you didn't even get to tell your name-"
As the trio smirked while Dylan attempted to hide the blush on his face.
The next day at the park...
"Hey (Y/N)."
"If you're not too busy."
"How do you feel about a blind date with D-"
(Y/N) saw Dylan rushing over to pick up the trio.
"Don't mind what Triple D is saying!"
"Its just a simple game of PoodleWolf, that's all..." Dylan said as he noticed Dolly tapping (Y/N)'s shoulder.
"Or you can help him out with a poem."
"He definitely needs a bit of inspiration at the moment." Dolly said sending a mischievous smile at Triple D as (Y/N) ponders at the thought.
"Why not both then." (Y/N) said smiling at him.
Oblivious at the idea of a date as Triple D leans Dylan closer to (Y/N).
Prompting him to blush as he stutters a brief 'sure' leading the way. And (Y/N) following him by his side.
"You three aren't thinking about sabotaging the date?" Dolly asked as the trio shrugged.
"Its more like,"
"Giving Dylan a subtle nudge in the right direction."
"And at least, he doesn't have to go over the top getting to know (Y/N)." As Triple D sneaked up after the pair while Dolly snickers.
Seeing Dylan slip up by accident as (Y/N) catches him.

First time writing a oneshot for this show so hopefully I got the characters' personalities on point (well Dylan might slightly easier because of his voice actor aka Donnie from ROTTMNT)
Both have bit of an ego and interests in all things science lol
