A year after the episode "A Summer to Remember"...

The family of 101 dalmatians returned to Cornwall for another summer weekend trip. Taking extra precaution of avoiding Bessie. A cow spiteful enough to bring additional bad luck from the previous holiday outing.

Dylan was met with a glaring stare from a (h/c) border collie dog, who stood under a (f/c) parasol secured into the sand with a few large rocks.

"City dog says what?" (Y/N) said confusing Dylan who immediately responds with a confused 'What?' as Spike the surfer doberman dog chuckled.

"Dylan, this is (Y/N)."

"She's Summer's sister and."

"She definitely knows you're not exactly fond of 'locals' around these parts." Spike said as Dylan felt guilty about that.

"Right but, I'm willing to make amends for my past opinion on that matter." Dylan said as (Y/N) rolled her eyes looking elsewhere while Spike quietly whispered to him.

("Try not to get rejected for a third time.")

("Since Summer told you she was seeing someone else.") Spike spoke softly as a friendly, large sheepdog happily waved at them before starting a volleyball game.

Dylan replied with a thumbs up but, still a bit heartbroken as the doberman went over to join the others on the sport. He quickly cleared his throat as (Y/N)'s retained a neutral expression.

"Really glad there's not a rainy cloud in the sky." Dylan said as (Y/N) shrugged.

"It was drizzling yesterday but, nothing close to a thunderstorm." "(Y/N) said with Dylan temporary intimidated by her indifferent tone but, shook away the feeling as he remembered something.

"In case, there's an unexpected chance of said thunderstorm."

"I'm still prepared to set up a thunder tent." Dylan said as (Y/N) raised an eyebrow.

"A what-"

"A-ah its something I usually assemble because most of my siblings do not like the sound of thunder."

"Including the sight of lightning appearing out of nowhere." Dylan said trying to give a brief explanation as (Y/N) hummed.

"Is it just for the younger pups?" (Y/N) asked as Dylan rubbed his neck.

"I mean I'm still slightly jumpy around thunderstorms."

"As long as I'm quick on my paws, making sure the thunder tent is well equipped to hold up a hundred and one pups."

"It eases some of that fear away." Dylan said as (Y/N) sighed lowering her guard.

"Summer did mention, you tried to secure a tent during a windy thunderstorm."

"Even going out of your way to use it as a temporary parachute to save your parents, Dolly, and Spike."

"Also stepping up, not to put her in danger as well..." (Y/N) said as Dylan smiled.

"Hey, I try to be as daring as Dolly."

"Just towards safety as my top priority." Dylan said striking a heroic pose then clumsily falling on the sand.

The dalmatian blushed spotting her in a more cheerful mood as she reached out to help him up.

1 hour later beside the bus at the grass field...

"How come you haven't dressed up as Poodlewolf?"

"Since you know a lot about this guy." (Y/N) said causing Dawkins to snicker before resuming to organize the tabletop game and its pieces while Dylan pouted.

"I'm not willing to cover up my spots nor."

"A mirror image of a poodle or wolf." Dylan said.

"Yet, you roleplay him as your personal hero."

"I'm sure Poodlewolf could handle the challenge of nap duty for rowdy puppies."

"Just to showcase more of his sensitive side than the usual warrior lifestyle." (Y/N) said with Dylan imagining the scenario.

"I'll put that as a slight maybe." Dylan said as (Y/N) closed her eyes.

"Awww that's a shame."

"Having the spots as a starry constellation would be a cool idea for a custom space and magic campaign."

"I'd be charmed seeing Poodlewolf with such a dazzling appearance." (Y/N) said prompting Dylan to deepen his blushing face after hearing the compliment.

Dolly tried not to barf as she entered the conversation.

"I wouldn't describe Dylan as dazzling but, its funny seeing him at a loss for words." Dolly said as she ran off.

"You wouldn't be laughing if I dared Spike to describe your personality!" Dylan grumbled as (Y/N) sat next to him.

"So you're not going to dare Spike while he's getting the boat ready?" (Y/N) asked as Dylan noticed the doberman checking the vehicle by himself.

"Dawkins, give a short summary of how the game is played!"

"While I take this opportunity to get back at Dolly!" Dylan said as the inventor shook his head but, still humored by his oldest brother.

Dashing at full speed with Spike surprised by the sudden rush in the distance.

"I'm keeping note of the idea you suggested earlier."

"Although, I really wished Cornwall wasn't that far away from Camden Town."

"You and Dylan would have a fun time brainstorming the concept into reality." Dawkins said.

"Could you keep another note for next week?"

"I can't say why but, for now its a secret." (Y/N) said as Dawkins nodded understanding the message.

One week later back at Camden Town...

Dylan heard the doorbell ring and open the electronic door with his paw print.

He gasped at the sight of the two border collies. Summer with a big grin while (Y/N) was wearing a witch's outfit in her favorite color. Dawkins appeared beside him and joined Summer cheering out a 'Surprise!' in perfect unison.

"Oh (Y/N), you let Dawkins know about the surprise visit!"

"That's really sweet!" Summer said as (Y/N) started to blush.

"Dylan, are you not going to compliment on (Y/N)'s outfit?"

"Its rude to keep her waiting." Dawkins said as Dizzy and Dee Dee eagerly greeted Summer and the four left the couple by the entrance.

"Your hat does bring an endearing presence." Dylan said as (Y/N) snickered.

"And I missed your funny personality." (Y/N) said sending a smooch near his face as hearts surfaced his eyes along with a goofy grin.
