After a few hours, Loki has calmed down. He heads to your room.
He opens your door to find you still in bed sleeping. Your veins are still glowing.
Loki walks around your bed and grabs the chair. He pulls it up to your bed and sits.
He looks down at your hand and goes to grab it.
"Ahh, " he exclaimed, pulling his hand back.
Your body is burning up.
Unsure of what to do he remembers he is part frost giant. He attempts to cool you, starting with your hand but it's not enough. Your body heat only warms him.
Loki gets up in a hurry and leaves your room. He heads to the lab where Bruce and Tony are.
He enters the lab,
"Why isn't she awake yet? It has been five hours. She is burning up! She should be awake by now," Loki says, walking up to Bruce and Tony.
They stop what they are doing and turn to Loki.
"We shocked her four times Loki. We didn't want to do the last one. She was already fading after the third. We weren't willing to risk it, but." Bruce says.
"But what? Why did you shock her the last time?" Loki asked becoming irritated.
"She asked us to," Tony said.
"And you listened to her," Loki shouted.
Bruce and Tony look at each other avoiding eye contact with Loki.
"If she doesn't wake up then it is on the both of you," Loki angrily says, pointing at Bruce and Tony.
"We know," Tony says.
"All we have to do is wait," Bruce adds on.
Loki is becoming more agitated.
"Loki, she wanted answers, if we didn't do it she would have found another way and it could have killed her," Bruce says trying to ease Loki's mind.
Loki is unable to say anything else. Their words only adding fuel to the fire. He storms out of the lab and heads back to your room.
Before opening your door Thor stops him,
"Brother, why don't we let her rest?" he says to Loki.
Loki turns his head,
"I can not sit around and wait with these buffoons. The least I can do is be by her side until she does wake up." Loki says reaching for the doorknob.
"Or you can have a drink with your brother and allow Claire time alone to heal," Thor says.
Loki is hesitant,
"One drink," he says turning, holding up his finger, walking past Thor.

You can feel your body burning. Internally you are in pain but can't wake up.
You wonder if you are dying.
"Maybe Loki was right and this was a bad idea," you say to yourself.
You saw your vision, so why can you not wake up.
Was there something you missed?
You think again about the vision.
Six stones, a man, fire, a woman screaming, and death.
"Thanos needs you," Thor says faintly.
"Who is Thanos?" you ask yourself. Pushing your mind further.
"You can help him find the stones, you need to hide. You cannot let him get to those stones!" You hear Natasha say.
You see the ones you love dead.
"He will kill anyone who comes between him," Thor says.
"Claire," Loki whispers "hide,"
A surge of pain rushes through your body. You can feel your body heating more and more.
Suddenly everything fades to black.
The pain stops.

Thor and Loki walk out to the balcony. Thor carrying two drinking glasses, placing them on the table. Loki sits. Thor pours him a drink and then himself one and joins Loki.
Loki is looking into the distance.
"Brother, why do you hide as though you don't care for the lass? You are not fooling anyone," Thor says taking a drink.
"Brother, I tried to wipe out the world. I have been labeled a monster. It's better to have these people perceive me as a monster. Makes it easy," Loki says looking at Thor.
"What you say is true, but would you rather be a monster the rest of your life or be perceived as the person I know you are. You are a lot of things Loki but I have never labeled or thought of you as a monster." Thor says looking at the sky.
"Thank you brother," Loki says bringing his drink to his mouth.
Thor and Loki sit in silence for a few moments.
"So, brother what do you see in the Midgardian?" Thor asked turning to Loki.
Loki smiles at the thought of you,
"She is remarkable. Her powers and the control she has over them. It is astounding." Loki says.
"Her smile warms the very core of my frigid heart. She has seen and lived through more pain than anyone I know, even myself. Making her one of the strongest women I know. Her eyes are of the deepest of blue. Pulling you in, inviting you to dive in. Her voice is as smooth as silk. Her touch is able to calm the storm within. And brother her kiss," he stops, unable to find the word to describe your kiss.
"Ahh, so you have kissed her," Thor interrupts, smiling while pouring the both of them another drink.
Loki smirks,
"Indeed I have," Loki says.
"Was it good, lots of tongue? No tongue? Hot? Heavy? Sloppy?" Thor questions.
"Brother you are of a different breed," Loki says with a hint of disgust. "It was perfect," he finishes, looking off into the distance.
"I am happy for you brother," Thor says raising his glass.
"Thank you brother," Loki says clinking his glass against Thor's. "Now, if only she would wake up," Loki says.
"I hope you aren't celebrating anything without me," you say standing in the balcony doorway.
Thor and Loki look in your direction.
"Claire, you're alright!" Thor says excitedly. Getting up and hugging you.
"Ouch," you say as he hugs you tighter.
"My bad, do you hurt," Thor asked.
"Yeah, just a bit, I'm okay though," you say trying to walk over to the table.
Thor assists you when seeing how painful walking appeared to be for you.
He drags a chair over and helps you into it.
"Thank you," you say.
Loki hasn't said anything to you.
The silence begins to become heavy.
"I am going to let Tony and Bruce know you are awake," Thor says breaking the silence and walking back inside.
You and Loki are left on the balcony.
"Loki," you finally say, attempting to get him to look at you.
Loki doesn't look at you. Instead, he stands and walks to the balcony railing.
"Loki I am sorry. I had to do it," you say attempting to stand to follow him.
He turns around finally able to look at you,
"I understand why you felt like you had to do it. I do not understand why you felt the need to hide it from me. Sneaking out of your bedroom to consult with Stark. We could have found another way, Claire, a safer way." he says angrily.
"I know, but so you know, I didn't consult with Tony right away. I contemplated telling you first," you attempt to explain.
"Did you even fall asleep last night? Exactly how long did you contemplate telling me Claire, until you decided not to," Loki asked walking toward you.
"No, I did not sleep. Once you were asleep I left and ran around the compound until the sun rose and when I saw Tony's car I decided then to talk to him, " looking down at your hands.
"So, you were up all night contemplating this and did not even bother waking me, " he asked becoming slightly angrier.
"Claire, I am trying to protect you but I can't when you run off and pull a stunt like you did today. You could have died," Loki says, still letting out his anger.
"I know and I said I am sorry," you say, starting to become angry yourself.
"Do not and I mean it Claire, do not pull another stunt like that or so help me," Loki says, trailing off.
You can't help but giggle,
"I am serious Claire, I cannot lose you," he says sternly.
You force yourself to stand and step to Loki,
"I won't, I promise," you say taking his hand.
He looks into your eyes and his anger fades away. He let's out a strong sigh,
"Are you alright? Did you see what you needed to see," Loki asked brushing his finger along your cheek. Moving a hair from your face.
"I am fine. Very sore, and yes I did," you say.
"What did you see," Loki asked, curious.
"Can I tell you with everyone together? Maybe one of you can shed more light on it," you ask.
Loki nods his head. He takes your hand and helps you into the compound.
