Loki and Thor arrive in Asgard.
"What business does father insist we attend at such a crucial time?" Loki asked as they arrive.
"He did not clarify. He advised that it was urgent and he insisted he sees us both," Thor explained.
"You're late," Heimdall interrupts.
"Yes, my brother was in the midst of training a Midgardian. In fact, he has become quite fond of her," Thor says, nudging Loki.
"Must you tell everyone my business?" Loki says, annoyed; walking away from the two.
"He acts as though I cannot see," Heimdall chuckles.
"Would you happen to know why my father requested us so suddenly?" Thor asks Heimdall.
"All I can say is it is about this woman Loki has fallen for. There is something she is not aware of," Heimdall explains.
"Thank you, my friend," Thor says, placing a hand on Heimdall's shoulder before walking after Loki.

Loki and Thor find their father sitting on his throne
"My sons, " Odin says as they approach.
Thor and Loki bow to their father
"Father," Thor says.
"I apologize for taking you away from your Midgard duties. It was vital that I see the two of you at once," Odin explains.
"Is everything alright father?" Thor asks, concerned.
"Oh yes Thor, I called on you to take a journey to Nidavellir. They have been living in squalor and I need someone to reach out and offer aid to them." Odin explains.
"Yes, father," Thor says, bowing before leaving.
"Why am I here?" Loki asks, confused.
"My son, walk with me," Odin suggest, standing and walking to Loki.
Loki and Odin walk down the hall of the castle.
"Loki, I have heard you have fallen for a Midgardian," Odin says.
"I don't see where you are going with this, father," Loki says, becoming slightly confused.
"Loki, I don't believe you know this woman as well as you believe you do. Not her or your fault, I am not convinced she knows everything about herself," Odin begins to explain.
Loki looks at Odin. Still unsure about this conversation,
"And what is it that I don't know father?" he asked.
Odin takes a moment to respond.
"Loki, the woman you have fallen for is of Asgardian blood," he says, looking at Loki.
"How is that possible? She had Midgardian parents," Loki questions.
"Yes, however, she is half Asgardian. Her father was a soldier in our army. He committed unspeakable crimes in Asgard. He was banished to Midgard. Her father fell for a Midgardian who died giving birth to her. Unable to care for Claire, he left her at an orphanage where her parents adopted her. This is why I truly believe Claire is unaware of her real bloodline," Odin continues to explain.
Loki is taken back. He is at a loss for words. Trying to understand this story his father has fashioned. He begins to pace.
"Loki, I know you care for this woman but you need to be cautious. Her father was of great deceit to the throne. I fear his blood courses through her veins that she could be capable of great evil," Odin warns.
Loki stops his pacing and turns to Odin.
"You haven't even met the woman. Yet, you judge her by the blood in her veins. Afraid that her father's thirst for power runs in her blood. You're afraid she will get that same thirst and take over your beloved throne?" Loki begins yelling at Odin.
Odin doesn't say a word.
"The worst part is you pretend to have concern for me as though you care for the son you believe is a monster," Loki continues, becoming angrier.
"Loki, you have to believe that my intentions are pure. My son, you need to be cautious with this half-blood." Odin says, stepping to Loki.
Loki steps away,
"Where is this father of hers?" Loki asks
"He has passed on," Odin says looking down.
"So you're saying I am to return to Claire with this information; not long after she relived her earthly parent's death. How am I to tell her? How am I to tell her that her real parents are dead as well?" Loki asks angrily.
"My son, this is your decision. I only caution you." Odin explains.
"Why father? Are you afraid she may turn me? Make me become the monster you all make me out to be? That we may conquer Asgard together? As I said, you only care for your precious throne," Loki yells turning away from Odin.
"Son, I see this woman brings out a part of you I feared was no longer there. I dread her breaking your heart and you giving into the darkness for good." Odin says sitting on a bench. "I can feel you two together are destined for greatness. I am just not able to see what kind of greatness."
Tears form in Loki's eyes,
"What am I to do? I cannot lose her father," Loki says sitting next to Odin.
"Loki, Claire was raised by Midgardians. Perhaps her soul is kind. She was not subjected to the hatred her father had. She might be spared from evil. If you fear telling her will only give her the outlet to choose; Wait to speak to her until you are sure she won't turn to the darkness," Odin says, trying to ease Loki's mind.
Just then Thor returns.
"Father; the aid is being sent as we speak," Thor says, with a smile. Unaware of the information Loki has just received.
"Wonderful my boy," Odin says, standing to shake his hand.
"Please, will my sons join me for dinner?" Odin asks looking at both Thor and Loki
"Of course father," Thor says, excitedly.
"Loki?" Odin asks, turning to Loki.
Loki is lost in thought but snaps back to reality when Odin mentions his name,
"Ah, of course, father. I will meet up with the two of you shortly," Loki says, getting up and walking away from the two.
Odin and Thor watch Loki leave. They turn and both walk back down the hall.

Loki walks to the balcony and stares off. He can't decide if he should tell you what his father told him. He doesn't want to keep a secret from you but fears that if what his father says is true, Thanos will turn you to dark the side when given the chance.
