Who is in control?
A pair of hands ran through a cherry tinted head of hair, twisting it into a half--up, Half--down braid, soothing the both of them as they leaned into each other. It has been a couple of months, nearly a year, since HYDRA allowed the blood relatives to see each other. Zinoviya had gotten healthier, due to the fact that she was now abler to hold down her food, and the soldier was feeding her more than half of his portions. She practically refused to leave her fathers side, not liking the fact that they were even willing to take her away from him. Every night, she fought against them as they put her back in her basement.
Occasionally, when she misbehaved, they would put her back in the basement earlier than usual, she was just thankful for how generous they were being towards her.
Over the past months, she's also witnessed her fathers weird behavior and his short memory, after he had been wiped.
She didn't like when he didn't remember.
She found it creepy.
When he was the winter soldier, he never talked. And if he did, it would be a single word or two. Never a full sentence, not towards her, at least.
The way that he was completely silent as he observed his surroundings, and how high his guard was up made her uneasy. Once, he had even attacked her, wrapping his metal arm around her small neck and squeezing, the little girl was terrified, though, when he went back to normal and remembered who she was to him, she wasted no time forgiving him as he embraced her petite body tightly.
