"We've arrived, President Oh."

Suryeon snapped her head towards the Secretary as soon as she heard what she said, or more like as soon as she heard who she mentioned, and failed to notice the familiar presence of someone that was slowly turning the swivel chair to face her.

"P-President Oh?"

That's when she looked at the large table on the furthest part of the office.

Oh Yoonhee was there, sitting on the chair with a small smile on her face, staring right through her. Suryeon just stood there, having an eye contact battle with Yoonhee. There was a building tension inside the large room, yet none of them seem to notice yet except the secretary.

"Ms. Oh, permission to leave?"

"You may go now. Thank you, Secretary Choi."

The intense staring contest has finally ended as Yoonhee spoke to her Secretary, giving her a polite nod. That left the two of them inside the office, with none of them saying a word yet. Yoonhee sighed and stood up from her seat, walking towards the windows to watch the view that always help her calm down. Suryeon just eyed her movements, still standing on her place like a statue.

"Oh Yoonhee..."

"I'm sure you're quite surprised, right?"

Yoonhee turned to face her when she heard no response and was met by an annoyed Suryeon whose arms were folded on her chest, staring at her sharply.

Its not like Yoonhee wasn't expecting this tho.

"Will you... Let me explain?"

"Fine, but this better be valid."

Suryeon huffed and walked towards the sofa, before she sat down. Yoonhee released the breath that she didn't knew she was holding in, and mirrored the older girl's action. Now they were sitting opposite to each other, with Yoonhee staring at her hands that was placed on her lap to avoid eye contact.

"First of all, I want to apologize, Suryeon unnie... I'm sorry for keeping this a secret, and for lying to you. I don't mean any harm..."

Yoonhee sighed for the nth time, slumping her shoulders in the process. Suryeon wasn't about to speak yet, waiting for the younger one to completely explain herself. However, deep down her heart, Suryeon knew that Yoonhee really did mean no harm towards her and to anybody else. She was a sweetheart.

"As you can see, not many people know who the CEO of BRN Entertainment is, and I plan to keep it that way for much longer."

"For what reason?"

"To protect my daughter..."

And with that, Suryeon knew that she can never stay mad at her.
