Suryeon finally stood up from her seat and went towards Yoonhee, who was unable to notice Suryeon crouching in front of her as she was too immersed in suppressing her sobs. Yoonhee didn't exactly knew why she cried, but its probably because she had lost so many people already. She didn't want Suryeon to be one of them.

"Yoonhee-ah... Look at me, please."

Suryeon held her wrists and removed her hands from covering her face, struggling for a bit as Yoonhee was quite stubborn. Suryeon sighed, but she proceeded nonetheless.

"Oh Yoonhee, look at me."

Yoonhee slowly lifted her head up with much hesitance, looking at Suryeon with her bloodshot eyes due to her nonstop crying. Suryeon sighed and held her hands, softly rubbing the back of her hand with her thumb. The action made Yoonhee calm down for a bit, washing away the worries in Suryeon.

"Don't cry, please. I'm sorry, I was too harsh on you. I'm sorry for saying hurtful words without considering how you feel..."

"S-Suryeon unnie..."

Yoonhee had a shock expression painted on her face, watching as Suryeon stared at their hands that were holding each other. Suryeon, however, was feeling nothing but guilt for saying such things towards her friend.

"Yoonhee-ah, I really am not mad at you. And I promise that I would never hate you no matter what mistake you make..."

"You're not mad at me, Suryeon unnie?"

"No, I'm not. I could never get mad at you, especially not over small matters like these."

Yoonhee pouted ad she felt the tears well up in her eyes again, but this time it was out of joy and gratefulness. Suryeon was really the kindest person she've ever met, and she's definitely thankful that she was her friend.

"Suryeon unnie, thank you... And I'm really sorry."

"Aigoo, stop apologizing, I already told you that it's fine."

"But unnie, I lied to you, I can never forgive myself for that. I have to make it up to you..."

Yoonhee pleaded, clasping Suryeon's hands as she did so. Suryeon was caught off guard for a moment, but she soon found a smile forming its way on her lips as she processed what Yoonhee has said. Truly, Yoonhee had a heart of gold.

"Fine, if you really want to make it up with me then I'll give you a chance."

"Really?! What do you want me to do then, unnie?"

Suryeon gave her a sweet smile and stood up from her crouching position, with Yoonhee watching her every moves.

"Lunch dates with me for a whole month, and it starts now."
