"Suryeon unnie, I don't know if it makes sense, but I really am telling the truth..."

Yoonhee stared at her eyes without second thoughts and Suryeon could see that she was sincere with her words. Suryeon had no intention of staying in bad terms with her, but who says she can't play a game? She wasn't about to make it that easy for Yoonhee, so she figured out that a little prank wouldn't hurt.

"I get it now, Yoonhee-ssi. You don't trust me that well yet."

"W-What? N-No its not like that, unnie—"

"No, its fine, I understand. Its only been a month since we've met, its my fault for thinking otherwise. Honestly, I really trust you, Yoonhee. I've never felt a single doubt towards you, and everything that I told you were genuine and true— but I guess you don't feel that way towards me."

Suryeon said as she stared into nothingness, trying so hard to keep her voice cold and her face void of emotions. A moment of silence engulfed the whole place, with Suryeon still avoiding an eye contact with the younger one.

It went on for more minutes, until she heard quiet whimpers that made her eyes widen. She instantly turned to look at Yoonhee and felt her heart clench at the sight of the younger one trying to control her sobs, yet she was unable to say a word despite everything that's been swarming on her mind.

"U-Unnie... I... I-I'm really sorry..."

Yoonhee finally let her tears fall, covering her face as she sob uncontrollably. Suryeon stared at her, her eyes pooling in tears, yet there were still no words said. She just stared, and let her heart feel the unbearable pain that she can't describe.

"I've never trust anyone in my life ever again... But you... Unnie, I trust you, I really do. For the first time in so many years, I finally felt that there was someone that I could lean to, someone whom I can cry on... Suryeon unnie, you've made me take down the walls that I've built around me... I'm really sorry..."

Suryeon couldn't fathom why her heart felt like cracking and shattering at some point, all she knows is that she had to do something to cheer her up.
