"Eomma, are you close friends with Ms.Oh?"

Suryeon was flinched and almost made a mess on her painting as Seokyung suddenly barged inside her office without knocking, a habit that she never changed.

"Seokyung-ah, you almost gave me a heart attack..."

"Oops, sorry..."

The girl only smiled sheepishly and proceeded to sit beside her mother, staring and analyzing her artwork. Suryeon sighed and placed her art materials down, turning to look at her daughter.

"Seokyung-ah, are you still not planning to befriend Rona? Do you hate her?"

"Eomma, its not that I hate her, I just don't want to be friends with her knowing that we'd become rivals in competitions."

Seokyung whined out, avoiding her mother's stern gaze. Indeed, the reason why she can't be friends with Rona is because she's afraid of having complicated relationships with people. Besides, Rona seemed to be not fond of her and the other 4 too.

"Ah, is that so? Are you afraid?"

"Eomma~ You haven't answered my question yet!"

"Oh, sorry... What was it again?"

"Are you and Ms.Oh close friends?"

"Yes? Why'd you ask?"

"Nothing, eomma. You two just seem to hang out a lot, even this afternoon right?"

"Its not just a 'hang out' Seokyung-ah, she's helping me out in the Company."

"Hmmm, still, you two are so close..."

Suryeon laughed and ruffled her hair before standing up, stretching her body in the process. Seokyung took a look at her watch and noticed that it was time for her mother to prepare for the 'hang out'.

"Oh, shouldn't you prepare already eomma? You're meeting up with Ms.Oh today right?"

"That's what I'm planning to do. Now go and have fun with your brother."

"Yes, eomma! Take care, love you!"

Seokyung exclaimed before walking away like a child, emitting a laugh from her mother. Suryeon shook her head softly at her silliness, and then decided that it really was time to prepare.

"Hmmm, why hasn't she called me yet? Well, I guess I have to pick her up from her house then..."
